L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser X3 range - review, photos

I had posted a preview post of L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser X3 New Skin Anti-aging range of products, which consists of the Cream moisturiser, Serum and Eye cream.
The range is said to be inspired by what Intense Pulsed Light does, and offers itself as a (cheaper) alternative to going for such procedures.
I was given a set of the products to test out, and I tried the serum as well as the cream.
I have been using these products since more than a month and now I'm completely ready to write my experience with these two.
The reason for using anti aging products is that I can hopefully prevent getting too many wrinkles/sagged skin in the future. I also have some deep wrinkles in my laughter lines and some thin lines around my eyes which really irritate me.
I have been searching for some good anti aging products for these problems since a long time. I know very well that wrinkles and fine lines are some real facts of time and age but we can try to save our immature skin from them .

L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Mascara - Review

You have read my review of L'Oreal Paris Super Liner Carbon Gloss Eyeliner from their new sunset collection. Today another review of  Loreal Volume Million Lashes Mascara from the same collection.  Some ladies are blessed with dense curly lashes but some unfortunately are not. I'm in one of the second type. My lashes are flat and thin. If you are a regular and old reader of COB, you are very well aware about it that very few mascaras have been working well on my stubborn lashes. I have used some other mascaras from L'Oreal Paris before but couldn't get  the expected results. What about this time? I'm going to reveal after a while.

L'Oreal Paris Super Liner Carbon Gloss Eyeliner: Review & EOTD

I always love to apply liquid eyeliner on my eyes as I'm not very fond of kohl and gel eyeliners. I have some great liquid eyeliners from Revlon, Mac, Sleek, NYX, Ellis Faas and Rouge Bunny Rouge. Recently I got a chance to try out the new L'Oreal Paris Super Liner Carbon Gloss Eyeliner from their new sunset collection of which my readers had caught a preview on my blog  a few days back. After using it on some occasions and in some makeup looks, I'm completely ready to write a detailed review for my readers.

Loreal Plenitude Water shine lipgloss-review, swatches

Last week I bought some new skincare and cosmetic products. I noticed Loreal Water Shine Long Lasting gloss and decided to buy it for myself. I have used it a couple of times and love it. Sometimes a light refreshing lip-gloss definitely changes my temperament.
Today a short review of this lip gloss for my readers who always want me to write about some lovely colors lip glosses.
Loreal USA Water Shine Long Lasting glosses come in some sensational  shades, you can choose some colors according to your mood and occasion.
First I come on the packaging. These lip glosses come in a silver packaging, inside it you find a cute plastic tube with a long plastic cap. After opening the cap, it was surprising to see the brush included with the tube for applying the gloss. The brush reminded me the Ellis Faas' well- recognized packaging. But here you have to squeeze the tube with force then the product comes out into the brush. It’s a bit tough because the gloss doesn’t come out easily. Overall it’s a new and nice packaging, the only caution you have to take with it to clean the brush always after using it. It’s necessary for hygiene purpose.

The texture of this lip gloss is neither too thick nor runny, it's quite opaque & has shimmers in it. It gives a lovely natural look to the lips as the shade is something like light reddish pink. The brush provided makes it easier to apply the lipgloss.
This is a fabulous choice for all those who want to buy a decent lip gloss at a reasonable cost.

Have you tried this lipgloss??

L'oreal Casting Creme gloss hair color- review, photos

Loreal hair colors have been a favorite of all those who use hair color. These hair colors are available in many ranges & the most popular one is the Casting Creme gloss which is available in 11 shades in India and more than 30 in the western countries. Of course, you can't expect blonde shades to be available here. The 11 shades here are most suitable for Indians- Check them out

Today I'm reviewing the shade 316 Plum.

What Loreal Paris says: Casting Crème Gloss is a no ammonia hair colourant that gives your hair visible shimmering tones, glossy shine and covers grey.
Give your hair a total beauty treatment with Casting Crème Gloss, for glossy rich, natural-looking colour with visible shimmering tones

Contents:
1 tube of creme colourant
  1 tube of developer creme
  1 bottle of Nutri-Shine conditioner
1 pair of professional quality gloves
- 1 instruction leaflet

Application: I mix the creme colorant into the developer bottle. The developer bottle has an application tip & you can apply the mixture with that. But I prefer using a brush for this purpose. If you have long hair then the whole bottle may get used up but the amount of color utilized entirely depends on the length of your hair. Also if you just need a root touch up then some color may be left over. Don't forget to put on the plastic gloves provided in the pack.
I would always suggest applying the color for around 45 minutes but if you have short hair then 30-35 will also do. The color does not drip once it's on your hair so the texture is not too thick nor too runny.
Anyways, time ambles by and now it's time to wash the color. You can always use the Nutri shine conditioner provided in this pack. It comes in a cute little container of 40g which is enough for 3 washes. This conditioner smells great & I've always loved using this! The color gives a beautiful glossy shine to your hair & stands true to it's claim! The color difference is visible clearly & with the sun beam on it, your hair would look gorgeous!! These colors are available for Rs 499 & they are totally worth it! Highly effective, long lasting & ammonia free. What else would you require from a hair color? So if you are into hair color I would highly recommend you to try out shades from Loreal Paris casting Creme gloss!

My friend's hair after root touch up

As you can see in the pic above that the hair looks really glossy & has a plum effect to it. This is what it looks on dark black hair so if you have slightly lighter natural hair color then it would show up even more. But my personal opinion is that this shade looks best on dark hair!
Rating: 4.5/5
They are easily available in many stores throughout the country.
Have you tried L'oreal casting creme gloss hair color? If yes, do share your opinion with me!

Budget Friendly Alternatives for Ravishing Makeup- Guest Post

Looking good may not always come with a hole in your pocket. While there is nothing
to deny the fact that prices of beauty products like Olay and others are going sky high, a
smart buyer knows how to cut back on your cosmetics budget by finding the right budgeted
alternatives. If you also wish to become one of the smart women, given below are a few
budgeted alternatives for your expensive beauty products:

1. Mascara: The main thing to look for in good mascara is the brush. The bristles must
not be clumped together but there should be many bristles that are spread over a
larger area. This will lengthen, accentuate and glorify the lashes. Some makeup artists
use different mascaras for length and thickness. The thickness mascara should be
applied first, followed by the lengthening one on the ends. Use L’Oreal Extra Volume
Collagen Mascara instead of Benefit Bad Gal Lash or DiorShow for budgeting. Cover
Girl LashBlast Volume Mascara is also recommended buy.

2. Eye and lip liners: Eyes and lips are pretty sensitive areas and these are also the main
areas where wrong makeup can cost. Hence, you must invest in quality eye and lipliners to save yourself from any mishaps. A quality liner does not necessarily mean a
costly one if you know just what to look for. A good liner must be smooth and soft; it
should not require excessive dragging which can damage the skin. A waterproof liner
will last the day and keep your face fresh. Replace your MAC Technakohl and Power
Point Eye Pencil with Revlon Colorstay liners for same results on a smaller budget.

3. Blush: A cream based blush should be preferred over a powder one because it looks
natural and lasts longer. Cream based blush are considered harmful for the skin as
they get soaked in. A pigmented blush gives a peppy look and you should try and get
one to get that blast of colour. A good blush on a budget is Maybelline Expert Wear
Blush (my review here) and Revlon Cream Blush. They are an inexpensive option to Bare Escentuals
bareMinerals Blush and Bobby Brown Pot Rouge.

4. Eye Shadow: Many affordable eye shadows are available in the market and they
can be used. The trick is to even out the base skin using a primer or concealer on
the lid, and then apply the eye shadow over the top. Eye shadows can change your
look completely if you learn to apply them properly. Maybelline Expert Wear Eye
Shadows Quads has a good color palette as does L’Oreal HIP Cream Shadow Paint.
Experts recommend the use of these budget products instead of Dior Eye Palette,
MAC Paint Pot and Chanel Quadra Eye Shadow.

5. Lip makeup: Many people prefer gloss over lipsticks due to their ease of use. No
matter what you use, there are many affordable choices. Instead of going for colours
that look great on others, choose a colour that compliments your skin tone. Guard
your lips with any of the products given below:
a) L’Oreal Infallible Never Fail Lipgloss
b) L’Oreal Colour Riche Lipcolour
c) L’Oreal Colour juice Gloss
d) Revlon Colorstay Overtime Lipcolor

6. Eye creams: The cream you use for the rest of your face does not work on the eye
area because this area is much more delicate. Invest in a good eye cream because this
will penetrate the skin and make it soft and supple. A harsh cream can cause a lot of
trouble. Some people save money on the other products and use it here. However,
there are many reasonable brands available in the market that can be used.
If you research really well, you will find a number of exchange offers where reputed
companies offer seasonal discounts on their beauty products. Look well and you will
find the product of your choice at lower rates. Olay PRO X Eye Restoration Complex
and L’Oreal RevitaLift Deep Set Wrinkle Eye Cream work as effectively as La Mer
’The Eye Balm” and Kinerase Restructure Firming Eye Cream.

These products are good buys and will also save you a lot of cash. The only splurge
recommended is for concealer and foundation as those manufactured by the big names
contain ingredients that ensure that your skin is pampered and loved.
