About a month ago, I got a little black bottle in a black packaging from Rouge Bunny Rouge with the name-Foundation Essence. Review and Swatches - Rouge Bunny Rouge Long Lasting Duo Silk Aether Cream Eye Shadow

Today I'm reviewing  Rouge Bunny Rouge Long Lasting Duo Silk Aether Cream Eye Shadow that was recently launched by the brand. The duo is called Gossamer Wing and it contains two neutral shades, Atlas Swallowtail (nude taupe) and Brocade Skipper (beige/champagne). I'm not a big fan of cream eye shadows and prefer powder shadow for myself. The reason is the very thin and dry texture of my eyelids. I have always faced a creasing problem by creamy shadows on my lids. But after using Rouge Bunny Rouge Long Lasting Duo Cream Eye Shadow, my opinion has totally changed, at least about this cream eye shadow. Before sharing my experience, I'll write some other details of this cream eye shadow.

Pen eyeliners have always attracted me. I have bought and tried many though after few applications was always disappointed with my decision to buy those. I of course don't say that all pen eyeliners are useless, yes few of them worked well, but just a few. From Sleek Makeup to Bourjois they have all disappointed me. I had shopped some products from the Rouge Bunny Rouge online boutique some time back.. I'd never used RBR Makeup brushes but they were definitely in my wishlist. Though these are a bit expensive but I chose one of them and that was my most favorite Rouge Bunny Rouge Crease Brush 011.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Dramatic Lash Mascara in Oxblood Panache- Review, EOTD

I have used some other shades of mascara like brown, gray and violet apart from black but RED? No! And I think I couldn't even imagine to apply an oxblood shade mascara on my lashes before using Rouge Bunny Rouge Dramatic Lash Mascara in Oxblood Panache. When I first saw the mascara, I wasn't sure I'll ever use this mascara in my real life but after applying it I fell in love with this amazing mascara. It worked so beautifully on my dark brown lashes that I really couldn't believe for a while. I'll be discussing my experience with this mascara after writing some other points.

 

Rouge Bunny Rouge Eye Brightening Duo liner- review, swatches

I wanted to buy a white pencil for applying in my water line to give them wide effect since a long time. But I was confused in selecting the brand for this product, I had heard nice thing about NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk and was about to purchase it. But then I came across Rouge Bunny Rouge Eye Wide Open Brightening Liner Duo and decided immediately to buy this specific one. I’m fully aware about the quality of this brand so was absolutely convinced!

Rouge Bunny Rouge Eye Wide Open Brightening Liner Duo is a chubby double shade liner. It comes in a black packaging full of delicate white flowers. Inside the package you find the shining white chubby pencil with black shining cap on both sides. You get a milky white soft tip liner one side and light pink shade on the other.

I love the packaging; it’s beautiful and perfect to carry out in my handbag for going out anywhere. Both caps are perfectly secure and tight.

 

 

Now coming on to the product, I tested my favorite white shade first, and I was surprised to see its quality. It’s soft and creamy like a dream. The shade is milky white with some silvery shimmers which is dazzling, when I applied it in my waterline; I was really amazed to see its pigmentation. I applied just one swipe and got what I wanted. My eyes look bright and wide instantly. I never expected such pigmentation and smoothness even though I was aware of RBR’s quality. 

 

After a great experience with the first one I checked the second shade i.e the Eye brightener which is pinkish white but completely matte. There are no shimmers in it. The pigmentation is equal like the first one. You can get your right color just in one application. It’s also creamy soft like silk. This shade also can be used in waterline as well as it can be applied on the lids as a base.

Both have amazing quality; I love to apply both of them in my water line to give my eyes some wideness instantly. The milky white shade gives an immediate brightness if I apply it on my lids and the corner of my eyes without any other makeup. If you have small eyes, you can get a wide effect after applying them in your water lines. 

They have great lasting power, if you have applied any of them in the morning, you can be free for 5 to 6 hours, isn’t that remarkable? They both stay such a long time without fading. I noticed that after 7-8 hours even when they started to fade a little, they did not look patchy or ugly!

One thing that worried me id the softness of the white Eye highlighter. It must be kept very carefully to prevent breakage. The pink tip is fine, it’s soft and creamy but not like the white one.

Finally I have fallen in love with the quality of this product from RBR. I’m happy that I didn’t tried any other brand because it’s said that as long you wait, as better you get so I have found the best product for my water line. I want to try their kohl pencil liner after this excellent experience.  Even though their products are costly as they are a luxury brand, still you can invest your money to get hold of some amazing products!

New shades of RBR Long Lasting eyeshadows: Review, swatches & photos

I got these shadows as a gift from RBR when I shopped from their web boutique! These two shades are about to be launched in the RBR Long lasting eyeshadow collection but I think the refills will also be available which you can keep in your Eye shadow Keepers! Both the shades are really beautiful & impressive!

Snowy Egret

Snowy Egret is a true snowy shade. White with silver shimmer that's what describes it best! It looks really beautiful when used with other shades! Can't wait to try a few EOTDs with it!

Eclipse eagle

It's quite hard to describe Eclipse Eagle but I would say that it's a mixture of gray, violet & brown which reminds of the enchanting darkness during an eclipse. Looks fabulous when used individually & it has light shimmers which make this shade all the more attractive.

Both are gorgeously pigmented having a fabulous color payoff & because of my great experience with other RBR shadows I'm sure these two also must be very long lasting which you can of course increase by using the Metamorphoses primer!

I'm really happy to own these shades & will be surely posting some EOTDs very soon!

So you all should surely get hold of these shades once they are available because they are really worth trying!

As you all know that RBR is one of my favorite brands and you might have known by now that they have an online boutique of their own! I recently shopped from their & the package arrived a few weeks back.
