Festive Eye Makeup for girls, Pink & gold eye makeup for Indian girls, easy eye makeup, Indian beauty blogger, Chamber of Beauty
Hi Beauties
Hope you all are fine, Happy Dusshehra to all...hope you all are enjoying yourselves. At first I want to introduce myself because I'm very new here. I'm Pooja & this is my first post on COB. I'm here with a light festive eye makeup. Usually, I'm not a big fan of heavy eye makeup. Being a 19-year-old girl a natural and light eye makeup suits me well.
I did a soft dusky pink eye makeup for this festival. I have used my E.l.f Baked Eyeshadow palette. I used its soft pink on the middle part of my lids and blended it on the whole lid. On the browbone, I used its golden pink that is almost golden.

Neutrogena Oil Free Acne face wash- Review {Guest Post}

Neutrogena Oil Free Acne face wash- Review

Most people find that acne destroys social life and leave unsightly marks and pits behind. I experimented with various face cleansers in my attempt to fight acne but finally came to the conclusion that an acne prone skin is very sensitive and not suitable for experimenting. This was the time when a dermatologist recommended Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash

What acne-prone skin needs is something that is gentle but cleanses thoroughly. Since I have a very oily skin that is also very sensitive, I could not use many acne washes that leave an oily film. Neutrogena acne wash, on the other hand, cleanses the skin well without leaving behind any oily residue. This cleansing formula gets into your skin pores and eliminates all traces of dirt and makeup.

When I used this acne wash for the first time, I found that it had an acidic sensation. When I researched it, I came to know that the reason for this was salicylic acid, the key component for not only eliminating acne but also preventing further acne breakouts. After using it for a few times, your face will feel smooth to touch.

After the acne cleared from my face, my skin felt fresh. Despite may people complaining of over-dryness, I have not felt it. Also, there are no irritations and that is due to the presence of skin soothers that this product contains.

 Ingredients
Other ingredients that this product contains are chamomile extracts, Aloe extracts and Matricaria extracts. All the three ingredients are recommended for acne prevention and cure. They are also used in treating acne at home.

Acne mostly occurs when your skin is very oily and the pores are clogged. The reason that the pores get clogged is because oil on face attracts dirt that in turns settles inside the pores and chokes them. Your skin is unable to breathe and this causes acne.

 How to apply

Wash your face with Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash twice everyday. Apply it on wet face and massage using circular motions. Rinse it off well with cool water.

Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash controls the production of oil on face and I felt that my face looked brighter. If you have a sensitive and very oily skin like me, then this product is good for you.

Make Up Trends That Will Make You Sparkle This Season {Guest Post}

Thanks to the mammoth of makeup trends doing the rounds in fashion circuit, you may get confused as what to do and what not to do this party season. Since everyone wants to look their best at parties, a few make up trends have been listed below so that you sparkle and are the center of attention.

Trend 1: Smoky Eyes Still Rule

It seems that fashionistas simply do not get enough of this look. Yes! You understood this right - smoky eyes are still in vogue. If you still want to try something different than the usual plain smoky look, add a hint of glitter on the inner eyelids to give your eyes a sparkle and look attractive even from a distance. The best way to get a completely wow look is to opt for smoky eyes and nude lips so that your peepers get the maximum attention.

Trend 2: Lash It Up

A lot of emphasis is being given to eyelashes. You can either use a volume mascara to add loads of attitude to your real eye lashes or also opt for false eye lashes. Perfectly curled thick eye lashes coupled with red lipstick is a steal look this season. Be sure to use your best wrinkle cream a few days in advance to have an impeccable skin later.

Trend 3: Sparkle Your Way

Sparklers are certainly “in” this season. The best part of this is to let your imagination run wild, while you can choose what you want to do with the sparkles. You can use them on the eyelids, under the eyelashes, on your cheeks and neck.  Let your creativity take over and make the most of the sparkle dust found in stores. If you are wearing a low cut dress, then you can use the sparkles on your bare arms and shoulders to create a diva look. You can also opt for the shimmering body powder to make the most of the look and enhance the short dress you are wearing.

Trend 4: Gorgeous Lips

Your lips can actually make or break your look. Gorgeous red or purple lip colors are the trend this year. You can opt for any bright color that compliments your dress and apply it to enhance the appearance of your lips. Do not forget to use a lip liner of the same family of colors and blend them to create a continuous look.
Try these trends and rediscover a new look for yourself this party season. They are meant to make you look much more attractive and ensure that you are a head turner.

Skin Care Tips for Fall (Guest Post)

Skin Care Tips For Fall 2011

The cool weather affects your skin differently and to make your skin glow as it did in
summer, you must switch to new skin care products that are much more suitable for
the cooler season. Given below are few skin care tips for Fall 2011 following which
you can be sure that your skin gets the same love that it got in summer.

Replace your summer lotions with oil-based creams - The cooler weather
leaves skin drier and therefore, you must now replace your summer creams
with other lotions and creams that contain hydrating oil. Your skin will be
protected against the moisture stealing weather.

1. Use Oil-based scrubs – It is essential to exfoliate regularly in the winter
season too. Using oil-based scrubs ensures that your skin gets the goodness of
oil and is exfoliated too.

2. Moisturize everyday - When the leaves change color, your skin begins to
lose its moisture too. Fall is also the time when the air from the heaters dries
skin causing it to flake. Protect it using a good shielding lotion that helps skin
to maintain its natural oil barrier thereby retaining the moisture and oils in it.
Moisturize well everyday to keep it soft and glowing.

3.Use a Sunscreen – Just because the sun is not as scorching in winter as it used
to be in summer, it is no reason for you to stop using sunscreen. The winter
sun is just as potent. Use a sunscreen with SPF of at least 15 to keep your skin
protected against the harmful radiations of sun.

4.Nourishing Cream for hands and feet – Don’t forget your hands and feet
that do so much of your work. Keep them moisturized with a nourishing
lotion. Your feet too develops cracks that can be painful is not treated
immediately. Massage them with a cuticle cream that moisturizes your feet.
To make you own intensive care moisturizing lotion for hands and feet take a
lemon and squeeze its juice in plain yogurt. Massage your hands and feet well
with it. Leave it on for ten minutes and then rise it. Follow it with a nourishing
cream.

5. Body Lotion – Summer sees most people use body lotion and washes with
fragrances. These fragrances are made from chemicals that dry skin. Replace
your fragrant body wash with a natural wash that moisturizes and hydrates
skin. You can make your own body wash scrub by mixing a cup of sugar
and half cup of extra virgin olive oil and scrubbing your body with it. It will
exfoliate and pamper your skin.

6. Lips – Don’t forget your lips, which become chapped in the cool weather.
Apply lip balm as many times as you need in a day to keep them moisturized.

7. Apart from these, you must not forget to drink plenty of water even if you do not feel
thirsty. Give yourself homemade facials using pumpkin and other natural ingredients
and keep your skin glowing in the Fall.

Budget Friendly Alternatives for Ravishing Makeup- Guest Post

Looking good may not always come with a hole in your pocket. While there is nothing
to deny the fact that prices of beauty products like Olay and others are going sky high, a
smart buyer knows how to cut back on your cosmetics budget by finding the right budgeted
alternatives. If you also wish to become one of the smart women, given below are a few
budgeted alternatives for your expensive beauty products:

1. Mascara: The main thing to look for in good mascara is the brush. The bristles must
not be clumped together but there should be many bristles that are spread over a
larger area. This will lengthen, accentuate and glorify the lashes. Some makeup artists
use different mascaras for length and thickness. The thickness mascara should be
applied first, followed by the lengthening one on the ends. Use L’Oreal Extra Volume
Collagen Mascara instead of Benefit Bad Gal Lash or DiorShow for budgeting. Cover
Girl LashBlast Volume Mascara is also recommended buy.

2. Eye and lip liners: Eyes and lips are pretty sensitive areas and these are also the main
areas where wrong makeup can cost. Hence, you must invest in quality eye and lipliners to save yourself from any mishaps. A quality liner does not necessarily mean a
costly one if you know just what to look for. A good liner must be smooth and soft; it
should not require excessive dragging which can damage the skin. A waterproof liner
will last the day and keep your face fresh. Replace your MAC Technakohl and Power
Point Eye Pencil with Revlon Colorstay liners for same results on a smaller budget.

3. Blush: A cream based blush should be preferred over a powder one because it looks
natural and lasts longer. Cream based blush are considered harmful for the skin as
they get soaked in. A pigmented blush gives a peppy look and you should try and get
one to get that blast of colour. A good blush on a budget is Maybelline Expert Wear
Blush (my review here) and Revlon Cream Blush. They are an inexpensive option to Bare Escentuals
bareMinerals Blush and Bobby Brown Pot Rouge.

4. Eye Shadow: Many affordable eye shadows are available in the market and they
can be used. The trick is to even out the base skin using a primer or concealer on
the lid, and then apply the eye shadow over the top. Eye shadows can change your
look completely if you learn to apply them properly. Maybelline Expert Wear Eye
Shadows Quads has a good color palette as does L’Oreal HIP Cream Shadow Paint.
Experts recommend the use of these budget products instead of Dior Eye Palette,
MAC Paint Pot and Chanel Quadra Eye Shadow.

5. Lip makeup: Many people prefer gloss over lipsticks due to their ease of use. No
matter what you use, there are many affordable choices. Instead of going for colours
that look great on others, choose a colour that compliments your skin tone. Guard
your lips with any of the products given below:
a) L’Oreal Infallible Never Fail Lipgloss
b) L’Oreal Colour Riche Lipcolour
c) L’Oreal Colour juice Gloss
d) Revlon Colorstay Overtime Lipcolor

6. Eye creams: The cream you use for the rest of your face does not work on the eye
area because this area is much more delicate. Invest in a good eye cream because this
will penetrate the skin and make it soft and supple. A harsh cream can cause a lot of
trouble. Some people save money on the other products and use it here. However,
there are many reasonable brands available in the market that can be used.
If you research really well, you will find a number of exchange offers where reputed
companies offer seasonal discounts on their beauty products. Look well and you will
find the product of your choice at lower rates. Olay PRO X Eye Restoration Complex
and L’Oreal RevitaLift Deep Set Wrinkle Eye Cream work as effectively as La Mer
’The Eye Balm” and Kinerase Restructure Firming Eye Cream.

These products are good buys and will also save you a lot of cash. The only splurge
recommended is for concealer and foundation as those manufactured by the big names
contain ingredients that ensure that your skin is pampered and loved.
