In the mirror of my own experience
Summers are about to begin and the main problem of this season is sweating. I never use a foundation in this season, the only thing which can work for reducing the sweating is a good pressed powder and it must be in one's handbag these days.
Packaging
It comes in a shining metallic gray round compact packaging which is a elegant packaging. It opens after pressing the button with a click. Inside the
case you find the pressed powder with a white puff and a round mirror.The packaging is very nice though the puff provided with powder is useless for me because I always love to apply a pressed powder with my Revlon powder brush but overall it's good packaging.
Texture
As the name suggests it really has a silky texture. You can feel the silky touch on your face while applying.
It's so light weighted that whenever I apply it just after moisturizing my face, the only feels that all the shine of my face have gone and nothing else, & I never feel that I've applied something on my face. I love its light silky texture which can be exampled with feather.
Application
These days, I don't use foundation at all, and makeup is so easy these days. I apply it after washing, moisturizing and applying sunscreen on my face, apply the powder giving just 2 or 3 swipes and blend it well. After that usually I apply nothing and become ready to go out but apply eyeliner and a light shade lipstick for some special occasion.
Effect
When I apply it after applying foundation it gives my make up a lovely soft finish without being in any way powdery or cakey looking, and even it gives natural coverage and a matte finish look to my bare face and taking the shine in itself. I never face the sweating problem after wearing it,usually I don't suffer from sweating problem on my face so if you have oily skin and have sweating problem especially on your upper lips or forehead, you'll have give time to one or two touch ups more.
Lasting power
It lasts for almost 5 to 6 hour easily on my face, never felt need to do a retouch on my skin. It's really durable. Whenever I applied it for going out for five/six hours, I almost forget that I have applied anything on my face. It's very natural and has a strong lasting power. If you have oily face, it'll last for at least 3 to 4 hours easily.

It's very light weight and gives a buildable natural coverage.
Keeps away the shining of my face and give it a matte finish look..
It doesn't cake at all, even on dry skin.

It sets or the foundation in a natural way.
The quality is worth the cost.
Bad points
It doesn't give a high coverage to the skin so if you want some more coverage, it's not for you.
Finally...
I'm very happy with its quality. After Revlon this is the second compact powder that has impressed me. It's natural and so light weight but it has no shining particles in it like
Revlon's PhotoReady but whenever I want a complete natural look, I apply this on my bare face. It gives a natural and thin coverage to my skin and gives it a silky soft feeling. I can say finally that it's another good product from
Faces Canada's Silk Glam Range.
