Sleek Makeup Gloss Me Summer 2014- Review & Swatches

Hi everyone,
I really love Sleek MakeUP’s Matte Me–the liquid lip color that goes on like a gloss but dries to a matte finish, yes I didn't try these glosses yet but I have decided to order some shades from this range soon. I'm not a big fan of shining glossy finish lip glosses But recently the brand sent over samples of the new shades in the Gloss Me range and since I'm completely in a glossy mood I'm today going to review two of this collection. Tai Orchid  and Forbidden City are two of six new shades of Sleek Makeup Gloss Me Lipgloss that launches a few short weeks ago for Summer 2014. The new shades will be a permanent part of the Gloss Me Lipgloss Collection and will bring the number of shades up from six to twelve.

Sleek Makeup Eyebrow Stylist: Review, photos, EOTD

Ask any girl who's into makeup- Your makeup essentials??
An eyebrow pencil, eyebrow stylist or brow kit will surely be one of those essentials! The case is no different with me...had I been asked this question a few months back- Sleek Makeup eyebrow kit would definitely have been a part of my answer but now, I can happily alter that part with another product, from Sleek Makeup itself, The Eyebrow Stylist.
After using Sleek Makeup's Eyebrow kit, I was excited to use one of the recent launches- Eyebrow Stylist which is available in three shades; Light, Medium and Dark. I selected the dark one because my brow's hair are dark brown. So, let's get started with the review!

Sleek MakeUp Limited Edition Rio Rio I-Divine Palette: Swatches, Review & EOTD

Hi everyone,
The Rio Carnival of football world cup is over now, Germany has won the prestigious FIFA world cup and the celebration of this achievement still continues out there and fairly so, they deserve it! I have been extremely busy these days due to my hectic work schedule and of course Ramadan' fasts so couldn't do my posts regularly but after a long gap, I'm going to post this colorful palette's review from Sleek Makeup.
The Sleek MakeUp Limited Edition Rio Rio I-Divine eyeshadow palette is inspired by the vibrant colors of the Rio Carnival celebrations and everything that is Brazilian, paying homage to Brazil since they were hosting this year’s FIFA World Cup.  I wanted to post it during the world cup but unfortunately couldn't do it at that time, it's late but not too late because the reminiscence of the game is still in there ...isn't it?

BB creams of various brands created a stir in the cosmetic market, a while ago. Sleek Makeup too had come up with their BB cream which was a very impressive product! Well, as we move ahead, it's time for the CC cream to make an appearance in the market. The new Sleek Makeup CC cream claims to mattify, moisturise, boost radiance & provide UV protection as well. That sounds like a perfect everyday tinted cream, doesn't it? All right then, you can scroll down to have a read at my experience with this product.

The Sleek Del Mar i-Divine Eyeshadow Palette is Sleek Makeup's most recent, limited edition release and couldn't be any better for Spring and Summer. I'm so pleased with being packed up with pretty pastels because in this warm weather, we all want to keep away deep, shimmery and bright colors eye shadows.  The Sleek MakeUp Limited Edition i-Divine Del Mar Volume 1 eyeshadow palette is inspired by Ibiza and it’s tranquil, calm and overall chilled out atmosphere with soft corals, sunset oranges, deep see blues and picturesque greens with a splash of pink and purple. Sleek Makeup falsies- review, EOTD

After a lovely sparkling festive eye shadow palette, Sleek Makeup has introduced something which can make your eyes more killer and attractive. If you have long lashes, you are lucky but ladies with thin and flat lashes like me, always want something which can make our lashes long and thick. For getting an instant effect we can apply false eye lashes. Sleek Makeup launched 8 new designs of false eyelashes, each pair is made with natural fibers and human hair so they feel soft and light on the eye and blend well within the natural lash line.

Sleek Makeup False Eyelashes are available now in eight different designs.

Bengal

Burmilla

Persian

Rag Doll

Russian Blue

Sphinx

Siamese

Savanna

Burmilla
Russian Blue

I have Burmilla and Russian Blue , although I love both but Russian Blue is the favorite one between them.

Burmilla

Burmilla is made of thin hairs but in thick form, perfect for night occasions. This pair is very light weight and very easy in application.

Russian Blue

Russian Blue  is a lovely pair of false lashes, it can be used on many occasions due to its lovely shape. It has some gaps among the hair which gives it a beautiful shape and inspite of its thick form it can be used easily on many occasions. It's also very light weight like feathers.

Both lashes are extremely light weight which feel very comfortable after applying . They don't irritate your eyes at all and seem like a part of your own natural lashes. I think these are the lightest falsies of my lashes collection. After using them I want some more natural shapes lashes among them.

These days if you have noticed, I have almost given up using falsies because the glue sometimes irritates my eyes. I was in search of a glue which suits my eyes and after using Sleek Makeup glue attached with the pairs of lashes, I had to say 'WOW' that's the glue I was in search of, it dries up in seconds when used.It has a very thin stick inside which is attached to its cap which gives precise application.

Finally, I love these lashes and would love to apply again and again. I want some other pairs that give me a natural effect because these are a bit dramatic and can not be used when you want a natural and casual effect.

I'm wearing Russian Blue here

Sleek Makeup Lip liners- review, swatches

I had purchased some products from Sleek Makeup a few months back. I needed some lip liners and I wanted to try out some from there. I bought shades in Ruby and Bare Essential and today I'm here with these two.

Sleek Makeup has two range of lip liners, one Twist Up lip Liners and two The Lip Pencil range. I checked their Lip Pencil range where they have just 7 shades which are not enough for choosing your favorite one but I got both my desired shades here so I did not face any problem in shade selection.
Sleek Makeup Ruby Lip Pencil is a ruby red with slightly hint of brown which is perfect for my dark lip colors. It's a lovely shade and can be used with many deep lipsticks.

Sleek Makeup Bare Essential Lip Pencil  is a very popular lip liner shade and probably the one I can use the most. It looks lovely with any color over top or just a pink gloss. It’s neutral and goes with most of my warm lipstick/lip gloss shades.

I have always been almost crazy about Sleek Makeup Products because I always found amazing quality in their products either they are eye shadow palettes, eyeliner or lipsticks, they have been just amazing but this time they proved me a bit wrong. I'm not saying that their quality is bad but not great this time. Not that amazing!

The packaging is simple but attractive. The color of the packaging is similar to the shade, even the caps are in the same shade.

The textures are not as smooth and creamy as I expected. I found the texture good in hot weather but in winters, both pencils dried in texture even they take a few swipes to really show up, I know that they'll start to work again in summers but what about winters??

Pigmentation wise they are both just average but again they are useless in this cold weather. These days I'm not using makeup products because of Muharram but for those who want to use these pencils in winters, should heat them by using a blow dryer before using.
If I talk about their lasting power, I'll say they are great, once you apply them on your lips, you don't need to be worry about these getting faded.

The swatches are 2 swipes each & you can see how dry they are in winters
I have used them several times in summers and they are pretty good for using but not in winters.
Finally, I'm not satisfied with the quality of these products of Sleek Makeup this time, but I'm very sure that the range of Twist Up Lip Liner would be great in quality and I'm going to buy one of them very soon. Anyways, I don't regret about my purchase much because I didn't spend much on it. The cost is very reasonable and I can test some more products again.

PRICE- $2.49
