Hey everyone,

Have you realised that I'm currently obsessed with nude lips? Of course, you must have! Another thing that I'm loving these days-lip pencils, matte ones. And when these Nudestix beauties came into my life, there was nothing else that I could ask for!

NUDESTIX was created by Canadian sisters Ally and Taylor Frankel along with their mom Jenny Frankel who also was the co-founder of CoverFX and has 20 years experience in the beauty industry(including brands like Mac). The sisters prefer a natural no makeup look so they created an entire line of makeup crayons that look natural, are highly pigmented, creamy and do not require makeup brushes. Lakme Nine-to-five Day Perfect lip color - Review,Swatches and LOTD

Today, I'm reviewing a daily wear shade from Lakme’s Nine to Five range - Toffee Nexus. Currently, it's one of my favorite shades as I love wearing it on a daily basis! 

The packaging, I believe, has changed but it is more eye catching and beautiful now. Lakme Nine-to-five Day Perfect lip colors come in a sleek pink metallic packaging which is so sturdy and looks pretty. In terms of appearance it's my favorite packaging from Lakme. The bullet has a flat tip instead of the regular pointed ones. It doesn't bother me but I think a bit pointed tip is easier to work when it comes to the corners of the lips.

L’oreal Color Riche Fever Brown Lipstick Review & Swatches

Whenever a new makeup collection of any famous brand is launched, I always keep my eyes on their lipsticks. I don't know what the other girls and ladies do, but it's the lipsticks that always make me crazy. That's the reason I have this huge collection of lipsticks. When  the Sunset Collection from L'Oreal Paris was launched, I first checked its lipstick shades. But when I saw the L'Oreal's  Fever Brown and Burning Sunset shades, my immediate reaction was 'No, these are is not for me.' Unfortunately when I was sent the collection, I  got two pieces of the Fever Brown lipstick instead of one. But it's a mistake that I don't mind. I know that the same color looks gorgeous on warm tone skin  but not on cool tones like me. But as a blogger I had to try it out. I tried and let me confess, I was not disappointed!

Illamasqua Immodest lipstick- review, pics

One of my most loved pink shades is this Immodest lipstick from Illamasqua's Imperfection collection! I'm sure most of you are aware about this collection & the beautiful products part of it! The remarkable speckled nail varnishes, blush duos etc everything looks so impressive & as a result it was a pleasure to try this only lipstick shade part of the collection.

Maybelline NY 14 Hr Superstay lipstick- Eternal Rose (review, swatches & FOTD)

After using the Mabelline NY 14 Hours Superstay lipstick Consistently truffle # 040 I was happy with the quality but quite disappointed with the color that I got. I eagerly wanted to get hold of some other colors that suit would me. And at last I got my favorite shade among this collection and that is Eternal Rose.

I'm very happy with this shade and now I'm reviewing this lovely lipstick.

Maybelline NY 14 hr Superstay lipstick- review, swatches & LOTD

Maybelline has launched a new range of lipsticks recently in India which is going to be quite popular among makeup lovers. Today I’m one of with this freshly launched lippie.The shade I got is Consistently truffle # 040

Maybelline 14 hours lipsticks have some tremendous shades which are really gorgeous and will be loved by Indian women because mostly the shades are for warm skin tones.

First I want to come on its packaging which could have been made more attractive. The lipstick comes in transparent packaging with white cap. You can see the lipstick shade from the packaging without opening the cap. I didn't like the concept of a white cap, it could have been either silver or transparent. It looks more appealing if you keep the cap separate. Overall I think it’s a average packaging.

Consistently truffle 040 is purplish brown shade with shimmers. It's a shade which will suit well to a warm skin tone but unfortunately this shade is not for me at all. After applying my lips look like purplish blue.

The texture of this lipstick is soft and silky. It glides on the lips like cream or butter. It has plenty of moisturizer in it so no lip balm is required before applying it.

The pigmentation is amazing. A single stroke provides plenty of color as this is richly pigmented. I applied it on my lips just one or two swipes and couldn't dare to apply more. So pigmentation is really great.

If I talk about its effect on my lips then I'll say it's not great but I'm pretty sure that the ladies with warm skin tones will look great in this shade. It didn't suit me but if I choose some other shades that suit me, no doubt, the effect will be great.

Now I'm coming at the most important part of this lipstick i.e. the lasting power that Maybelline has claimed for 14 hours. I examined it and reached at a conclusion that it's really long lasting but not 14 hours at all. It can last on my lips about for 6 to 8 hours which is really impressive but when it starts fading, it forms ugly patches which I don't like.
Finally, it's not as impressive as Maybelline's other products, I always loved their lipstick and glosses that are not only of great quality but also at very reasonable prices but this lipstick has disappointed me a bit. But still I would love to try out some other shades from this range because they have some amazing colors & I guess if you find some right shades for yourselves you will not regret buying them. Maybelline Colorsensational Bronze Orange lip color- review, swatches

Hope you all enjoyed the weekend! It's good to be back after a couple of days, the internet connections were all damaged out here after the destructive rains, storm & hailstorm! Winters at their best worst!!

Anyways, today I'm here with a lovely coral lipcolor from the well known Maybelline Colorsensational Moisture Extreme range  that i bought last year!

The packaging is quite simple & the case is of the shade color. Handy & light weight!

Let's talk about the shade which is really beautiful! Coral i.e. mixture of orange, brown & pink. It's gives a gorgeous effect & is very moisturizing! The color suits Indian skintones a lot & looks great on fair & medium skintones!

The texture is very soft & moisturizing! Highly pigmented, you can get the right color in just 2 swipes! A couple of months back I had shared my collection of favorite orange lip colors with you all & this lipstick definitely had to among them! View the post: HERE

I've always had a good experience with all Maybelline lip colors  except for their low lasting power.

It may have happened that Maybelline has discontinued this lip color but if you can get hold of one, it's really worth trying!

Sleek Makeup True Color Lipstick-Review, swatches & LOTD

I've been much into fashion posts these days and I'm sure my cosmetics junky readers are missing a post of their interest so today I'm back with a lovely product from Sleek Makeup and I'm sure it'll make you happy.

I have previously used one of their lipsticks in a really dark shade from Berry collection  I was pleasantly surprised with the quality, richness of colour and longevity of the lipstick, so much so infact, I recently bought another one, but this time in  a light shade. I bought a peachy pink shade 'Bare All' from Sleek Makeup True Color Lipstick range.

There are 20 shades available in Sleek Makeup True Color range.

It comes in a box whilst the box itself isn't so appealing, the matte case of the lipstick is really chic and looks cute in any makeup bag. The size of lipstick is a bit small but in my opinion it's good because we can't stick with one lipstick and this size is enough for using it sufficient time. It's very light weight so it's pleasant to keep in my handbag always.

 



Bare All is an orangish peach shade. It's not nude but it's in between nude and peach. For dark skin it'll be a good peachy nude color.
The texture is completely matte, it is enriched with vitamin E but it doesn't moisturize your lips so  you always have to be sure that your lips are in good condition before you apply this. You can use a lip balm to moisturize your lips especially in winter because the texture of this lipstick is not moisturizing.

It is really impressive how pigmented this lipstick is, just one or two swipes gives you the sufficient color. I'm really surprised to see its pigmentation.



It has a fantastic staying power throughout the day, although it will come off if you eat, but not if you drink. The color itself is a bit bright so is perfect for day wear, but I think would also look great for night wear too with heavy eye makeup.
You have to pay just $6.49 for this fantastic lipstick, don't you think its like a steal?
I love its effect on my lips, I can wear it with many outfits especially with my black, blue and white color outfits.
Finally, I'm happy with my latest pick, I would love to buy some more shades from True Color range, I would also love to try out some shimmery light shades from this range.

Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Liquid lipstick- review, swatches & pics

You always hesitate when you are wearing lipstick or gloss and your beloved your child wants a kiss from you. you want to show your affection by kissing someone you love and leave a sign of your lip color on his/her face, don't you think it looks embarrassing sometime? But you all know that now there are some lipsticks available in the market which can make you completely free from transferring your lip color while kissing someone.Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Lipcolors are such non transferable lipsticks. Today I'll write some details and my experience of this liquid lipstick.

The packaging of the Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipsticks is sleek and pretty.

Each shade comes housed in a long clear tube which you can view the shade inside

topped off with a plain black lid embossed with Revlon's trade mark font. I love the packaging; it's simple but sturdy!

The shade Platinum Petal is a slight metallic pink shade which is suitable for all skin tones! It looks really beautiful with both western as well as Indian outfits!

The texture is neither too thick nor runny it's just perfect for applying on my lips. It spread on the lips so easily. I have used some other brand liquid lipstick but this lipstick impressed me most with its texture.
Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick has amazing pigmentation which is unbelievable, just one swipe and you are done. The color glides on my lips like wonder. I have read from some blogger that it make dry the lips but I didn't face this problem ever. Many times I applied i till morning to evening but neither my lips became dry nor I needed to reapply it again. The lasting power as Revlon claims is just wonderful. It lasts for whole day and even more very easily, you can reapply the lipstick just for refresh the application if you want because after 6 hours you can feel a bit dryness and some creasing on the lip.

The effect I got after applying is just fabulous. It makes my look so fresh and lively. The best quality of this lipstick is that it makes me free from all fears to transfer my color on my teeth or  on other things. I think it's a necessary product for the occasions when you are planing to go out for a whole day trip.

The only down side(if you want to say it down side) of this lipstick is its removal, you can't remove it without a good makeup remover. So be cautious if you are going to wear this ipstick, make sure you have a good makeup remover. Ordinary cleanser doesn't work at all.

Finally I'm very happy with this product and now I'm planning to buy some more shades from this range but currently I love this shade because it suit with my complexion well.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Colour Burst Lipstick in ‘Inscribed in Sheets’ – Review & swatches

I always love creamy matte lipstick which has no shimmers in it. Apart from this I’m almost crazy about new and nontraditional colors in lipsticks. I keep my eyes such brands that have exclusive and uncommon colors in their lipstick collection.

Rouge Bunny Rouge is though a well-known luxurious brand but I love it because of their matchless color collection especially in lipstick range.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Colour Burst Lipsticks are available in 12 shades. Every shade is elite uncommon.

Rouge Bunny Rouge Colour Burst Lipstick in ‘Inscribed in Sheets’ is a rosy pinkish brown shade which is not found easily in all brands.

I can write a long paragraph on its packaging beauty but in short I can describe that it comes in a black packaging with white delicate flowers. Inside the packaging, the black shining round lipstick with white flower is really sophisticated. I always love their stylish and pretty packaging.

It’s completely matte formula with super creamy texture. It glides on the lips like butter. I never anticipated such creamy formula in a matte lipstick. It hydrates my lips even I apply it on my dry lips. A lipstick should always apply on moist lips but in case your lips are dry and you apply this lipstick, you get a creamy and moist effect after applying it.

Like its marvelous texture the pigmentation is also wonderful. Glide it on your lips once and you get your right color. 

You would have thought about its lasting power and I was just coming on this point. It’s a creamy matte formula so as expected it very long lasting too. It lasts about for 5/6 hours on my lips. Lip products last on my lips much more in comparison of others so if even your lip colors fade quickly, it’ll definitely stay for3 to 4 hours easily. 

I wore this lipstick several times and every time I appreciate its effect on my lips myself.  The shade is so beautiful that I can apply it with many outfits without any hesitation. It’s in between deep and light so can be applied at both day and night occasions. 

Finally, I’m decidedly enthralled with this lipstick. You’ll now definitely see my snaps with this shade many times. It’s my current favorite. It has got all the qualities which can be expected for a high quality luxurious brand. Hats off to Rouge Bunny Rouge for introducing such a high quality lipstick. I’ll definitely want to buy some more colors from their color burst range.
