Today's review is about a brand about which I had heard and read a lot but hadn't got a chance to try, until now. Yes, I'm talking about the brand 'Makeup Revolution London' which is famous for it's good quality, budget-friendly cosmetics. Recently I got a chance to try some products of this brand. Being a red lipstick lover, I was excited to review this product first- A red Lipstick from Makeup Revolution London!

In the mirror of my own experience
Packaging
Makeup Revolution Amazing Lipstick comes in a simple black glossy tube with a similar color lid. The lid illustrates the actual shade of the lipstick so if you have different shades of this range, you can easily see which shade you are looking for. The lid also has a sticker indicating the shade name(although mine just says Atomic shade & not Ruby). The packaging is ordinary and simple but you can't expect much more with this price lipstick. The only down side of the packaging is that the lid of the lipstick is not very tight and secure so you should be careful while keeping it in your purse.
Shade
Atomic Ruby is a bright red shade that can attract anyone. It's a gorgeous, cool-toned red which looks beautiful on fair and medium toned skin beauties.
Texture & pigmentation
It has a creamy texture that feels so soft and smooth on the lips. It moisturises the lips very well. I really love that this is is a cream formula and has no shimmers at all. It's unscented and has a great pigmentation, one just needs a single swipe to get a right opaque coverage. You don't need to swipe the lipstick again and again even if you have pigmented lips.
Application & Effect
It feels silky and smooth while applying on the lips. It completely moisturises the lips so no need to apply a lip balm before application even these days. The lipstick gives creamy, smooth and even finish. I love how smoothly it glides on the lips. It doesn't settle into the fine lines of the lips. I love the healthy shine that I get after applying it. The lipstick doesn't bleed even without lipliner but I always prefer applying a lipliner before application a red lipstick. Usually I love matte formula lipstick but love its glossy finish these days.
Lasting power
As it has a creamy formula so I didn't expect a long-lasting power from this lipstick. It stays for about 5-6 hours ( including drinking but not eating, with eating, it lasts for 4-5 hours). I'm satisfied with the lasting power of this lipstick. After removing, it leaves a slight stain on the lips, with baby oil or make remover it can be removed completely.

There is no reason to not love this lipstick. At this price, you get everything that you get after paying a high price. Even though I'm not satisfied with the packaging but love the quality of this budget friendly lipstick. I would love to try some more shades from this range. I'll recommend this lipstick to my readers who are looking for a budget-friendly good quality lipstick.
