I hope all my fellow Indians had a lovely festive weekend! The celebrations are not over yet which means all the beautiful ladies have got a few more days to dress up in their best ethnic attires. My today's outfit is inspired by the bright festival shades of this season. The colors are bright and deep at the same time keeping the weather in mind. I bought this anarkali kurti from Limeroad a few months back (check out this video) and thought this would be the best time of the year to style it. I really love this because of the colours, the plain teal body and the bright patterned sleeves and border.
I added some red and golden details to the outfit to make it more festive.

You all know well how madly I love red lip colors. I have a big collection of red lipsticks in my makeup drawers. They all are red but of different textures and brands. Some of them are my favorites but I love each lipstick because each one has its own unique qualities. A new one got added in this collection recently. This is NYX Matte Lipstick in Pure Red. I have always been a big fan of NYX lipsticks, having tried some NYX Round lipsticks earlier. A pure matte lipstick from NYX Cosmetics was on my wishlist & I was so glad to get hold of this shade when NYX products were launched in India last month. My today's review is of this new beauty.

I finally had my first rainy day shoot. Although it's not officially monsoons but at least twice a week we are getting an early dose of storm, hail & lots of rain. Hope you all enjoyed the weekend to the fullest! I had lots to do over the weekend for the blog so it was a busy one. Really enjoyed going through everyone's Christmas posts, festive outfits, amazing videos etc. Well, the party is not over yet with the NYE just a couple of days away. Today's outfit is all about, as the title says, red, black & denim. It's mandatory to wear red in the last week of December, isn't it? And for me, red & denim go hand in hand.

Embroidered Blouse & Denim Skirt-OOTD | Fall fashion trends

blouses & denim skirts were a part of my recent fall wishlist. After getting a chance to grab a couple of designs from Zaful, I decided to pair  them up together.

Denim skirts(especially the button up ones) are so much in vogue with the comeback of swinging 70s this year. Even though I was looking for a button up one, this skirt was simply irresistible. It has the perfect length, fit & shade. The ripped borders make it even cooler! Isn't it? This embroidered blouse was the perfect piece to style with the denim skirt. The embroidery is so neatly and skillfully done. Absolutely adore the floral designs!

Red Carpet Makeup with July 2015 Fab Bag

I hope you all remember how special was July 2015 Fab Bag. Anything related to the Red Carpet becomes far from ordinary anyhow! 

The July Fab consisted of some red carpet makeup essentials such as a black liquid eyeliner & a red lipstick. Using both the products, I've done a simple yet glamorous makeup look which can make you the show stopper at a red carpet event!

Green coat, red lips- OOTD

Winters are incomplete without a classy forest green coat and red lips. Keeping in mind this very fact I decided to put on this look by pairing this gorgeous coat over a vintage plaid dress!

The coat is from Minitake, an online fashion store which I introduced you all to in this post last month. Forest Green shade has always been one of my favourites when it comes to clothes. There is something very classy and sophisticated about this colour which makes it so special and what's more, it looks perfect in winters! 

The dress is from the AW'13 collection of Fever London and honestly speaking it's an absolute favourite piece in my closet!

Red is my most beloved shade when it comes to lipsticks, so I couldn't really reach out for any other shade while getting ready for this shoot! And then a red bag found it's way in this outfit to accompany the red lips!
