Highlighters always make one special and give a glamorous look to the face and body. This spring Sleek Makeup's newly launched products have given a big and pleasant surprise to all makeup lovers. Colorful blush sets inspired from spring colorful flowers and glamorous highlighters for all skin tones. Spring is always special for everyone but these products have made it more matchless and beautiful. You get every exceptional shade in the blush sets and in highlighters too. Today I’ll examine the highlighter in my own conduct.

Packaging

Sleek Makeup Glo Face and Body Highlighters come in sturdy shining packaging & on the carton itself which you can see the highlighter shades. Inside the package, you find a small 'sleek' black case which is an individual reflection of Sleek Makeup’s product packaging. On opening this case we have a wide mirror on one side  & the 5 different shades on the other side.

The case is quite firm and solid which makes it ideal for traveling . The Sleek Makeup logo and product name is printed on the front with an additional label on the back with product/ingredients/company details.

You get 5 different shades in each of these highlighters. I have Bronze Baby wherein there is a great combination of both light & dark shades.

How to apply

Gently sweep a blusher brush along the palette and apply a small amount along the brow bone and cheekbones to define your facial contours. For an added kick of summer GLO, use a kabuki brush to dust your collarbone and shoulders and catch the light! 

In the mirror of my own experience

 I love to use highlighters on my face even when I don't want to apply a blush on my face, I like to wear a highlighter for getting a healthy glow on my face. The highlighters that Sleek Makeup has recently launched, have all highlighting shades which we only can imagine. Even this one; Bronze Baby; which I'm reviewing has all the light & dark shades!

Texture

The texture of the highlighter ( Bronze Baby) is silky-smooth and extremely soft. They are not powdery at all. It glides onto the skin smoothly like a dream. It feels very creamy when applied to the skin and moves smoothly on it without effort. The texture is also so light weight that you don’t even feel that you have applied something on your face. The highlighter is refined with a superior quality.

Pigmentation

Each shade is highly pigmented and has complete color payoff. From light to dark, every shade has its own color strength. All shades can be built up for superior intensity. But it doesn’t mean that it’ll make your face glittery in  just one swipe as this meant to be used as a face color like bronzer, blush, highlighter it woks beautifully according to its use. This is a great thing for the anticipated use of the product.

Application

I have used these highlighters on my cheek bones, tip of my nose, chin and a bit on both sides of my forehead in a very gentle way and blend it into my skin. I applied them on my body too like my shoulders, arms. You can apply them all the areas of your body to which you want to highlight. You should use a light hand with these highlighters to avoid looking super shiny When I go to direct in sunlight, the highlighted areas laminate up beautifully and in the artificial lights,  the highlighting parts give a flushy effect which looks beautiful.

Effect

It has a high-shine reflective finish which gives a really beautiful flushy effect. They do not have a thick frost effect. You can’t find glitter particles in it. The effect which you get after wearing it, looks quite natural and glossy. You can’t describe the effect as shimmery but slightly they have a great shiny luster. Every shade  has its own charm and uniqueness and when is applied this really shows in a beautiful manner. When you apply the light shades, you get a glossy and flushed look and the other side if you wear dark shades, they give you a bronzy glamorous effect so all shades increase your beauty and gives you a magnificent effect

Lasting power

It stays graciously for 7 to 8 hours before any fading. If you use it with a face primer, the capacity of the highlighter extends upto 10 hours or more. If you apply them on your bare skin, it still lasts for 6 to 7 hour easily so it has amazing staying power. If you have super oily skin the period of lasting would be a bit less because oily skin can't hold blush and highlighters for too long.

Good points

Beautiful, sturdy and firm packaging which is very helpful to carry out.
A wide mirror provided with the case makes application very easy.
There are five highlighting shades that are sufficient for every skin tone and for all occasions.
If the light shades give your face a natural glow then the dark shade give it a glamorous effect.
The texture is silky smooth and creamy.
It glides onto the skin smoothly.
The pigmentation is just according  to a face and body highlighter, it doesn't make your face over glittery.
There are not any glitter particles in it.
The effect which you get after applying them is incredible.
The lasting power is just amazing.
The cost is unbelievable.

Bad points

The only bad point is that it's not available in India so purchasing it from their website can make it a bit costly but not much because the price is like a steal.
I can't make it a bad point of not providing a brush with the packaging because a highlighting brush should be big one so it's not possible to keep a big brush with the highlighter packaging.

Finally....

There is nothing to say about this product but I should say that it's the best highlighter I have used till date. If you examine its overall performance of course with the price too, it's amazingly brilliant. I don't know, how Sleek Makeup manages such high quality with such a low cost but I think that something amazing means a product of Sleek Makeup. I have many highlighters, in fact the Colorbar's highlighter is very similar to this one and has been my favorite too one but the cost of that highlighter is not affordable for everyone.

Recommendation

Well, I'll greatly recommend these highlighters to my readers from all over the world that try at least one of these, trust me, you'll get too much at the cost you'll pay for them. You don't need any other highlighter if you have one of these highlighters.
