Today's post is also based on the Cannes film festival 2016. Now that even Sonam Kapoor has made her final appearance, I wanted to share some of my favourite pics of the two Bollywood divas at the Cannes this year. Unlike last year, Aishwarya made an early appearance at the fest. It seemed as if both the actresses had chosen a theme when it came to their red carpet outfits.
Aishwarya opted for highly embriodered & bejewelled gowns, two of them in shades of golden. On the other hand, Sonam went for stunning caped Ralph & Russo designs in shades of white.
Surprisingly, she outdid Aishwarya's ensembles with her magnificent choice of outfit, hair & makeup all three times! Aishwarya's lilac lipstick was a daring choice which sadly didn't work and ruined the entire look on her last appearance. The gown was absolutely stunning but the makeup could have been much better.
