Hey everyone, hope you all are doing well! Here the fasts of holy Ramadan are going on which have made the schedule of each day quite busy and hectic. I am getting no time for writing reviews, it seems as if each day flies away so quickly. But finally managed to prepare today's post which is all about the new British Rose Collection from The Body Shop. The collection has been launched in other countries way back but in India, The Body Shop launched it last month on occasion of Mother's Day. I got my hands on a few things from this collection last month itself such as the British Rose Body Scrub & the British Rose Body Butter. Read on to find out about my experience with the The Body Shop British Rose Collection.

The Body Shop British Rose Body Scrub review

The Body Shop British Rose Body Scrub comes in a black jar with a pink rose on the lid. It looks really beautiful, thanks to the colour combination. The packaging is sturdy & travel-friendly as well. The scrub, pinkish orange in color, spreads on the skin like a dream. The texture is light & gel like with tiny orange beads. It's quite similar to The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Scrub that I loved. You can apply it both on dry & damp skin. I prefer using it over damp skin. The scrub feels mild & exfoliates the skin well. It makes the skin clean & supple and I'm in love with the fragrance of fresh roses. The aroma lasts for almost 4-5 hours which is brilliant! The quantity is enough to last for almost 2 months. As TBS says, it does feel exquisite & luxurious, thanks to the pleasing essence of British roses.

The Body Shop British Rose Body Butter housed in the TBS signature body butter jar. The jar is light pink in color and a pink rose is printed on the lid that has made the packaging more striking. British Rose Instant Glow Body Butter is enriched with the delightful aroma of hand picked roses. The texture is creamy and silky. It glides on the skin effortlessly. The weather is hot and humid and one can't imagine applying a thick body butter after bathing. But trust me, the butter get absorbs easily with a few strokes of gentle massage. I need a little amount to cover the whole body. It hydrates my skin beautifully and leaves it soft and silky. I never feel my skin oily or greasy even in this weather. It feels very light weight and never leaves any spot behind even if I put my clothes immediately after a massage. My skin feels hydrated for 24 hours. The scent of fresh roses makes my day pleasant.

The Body Shop British Rose Body Butter

The effect is really great, I have been using this body butter for two weeks and love my silky skin. I don't know if it has given any glow or not but a smooth and supple skin can give a glowing effect,no doubt.It reminds me of The Body Shop Fuji Green Tea Body Butter. Both are great in terms of result but if I compare them, my favorite will be The British Rose Body Butter. Maybe the cause is its heavenly fragrance.

Finally...

The Body Shop British Rose Collection Body Butter and Body Scrub review

After using both products I fell in love with The Body Shop British Rose Collection. I'm totally in love with both the products. Both are the must have for this season. A lovely shower with the British Rose Scrub is really like a luxurios long bath with a tub full of water with lots of fresh rose petals. After the shower, applying the rose scent silky butter gives a heavenly feeling that I can't describe. I would like to try some other products from the range as well such the hand cream & the makeup palette. Highly recommended!
