I'm reviewing this shade which is my favorite shade. Silken Peach is a dark peach brown shade with a hint of dull pink, I didn't find any hint of shimmer in the shade, it's really my favorite shade and I love it.
In the mirror of my own experience
I have used some of Faces Canada lipsticks before and have reviewed one too, but this one my most most favorite!
Like other products of Silk Range
this one is also an exceptional product from this range. I've used it many times
and each time I found it excellent.
Packaging
Like all products from this range, the packaging of Faces Glam On Lipstick is beautiful and elegant. As you can see it comes in black metallic shining case which looks
stylish and eye-catching.
The packaging is not only beautiful but sturdy and light weight too, very easy to keep in purse while traveling.
Texture
The texture is soft, silky and quite
moisturising. It glides on lips very smoothly. It's between the matte and
glossy and just perfect for the lips in every season. A silky feeling remains
in my mind whenever I apply it on my lips because it insists me to feel due to
its silky texture.
Pigmentation
Its a super pigmented lipstick just one or two swipes can give the right color. When I saw it at first, I thought it’s quite deep for me but after applying it, it proved to be one of my favorite shade lip color. It doesn't settle on fine lines and gives a soft look of lips. No need to apply a lip balm but in case you have super dry lips, apply a light coat of lip balm before using it.
Application
The shade is amazing and can be used with both light and dark eye makeup look because it's a shade that lies between dark and light. You can realize this only after applying it on your lips. I always apply it after applying a same color lip liner, just two or three swipes give me the right color. I take a tissue paper, press on my lips and become ready for going out any where.
Effect
I just love the effect after applying it. I remember when I first applied it with a slight hesitation because the lipstick seemed to be a bit deep but I was happily surprised to see the actual shade and effect. The shade is so beautiful that it will go with every skin tones from fair to dark and also perfect for all ages from young to old ladies.
Lasting power
The lipstick also has very strong staying power, it lasts almost for 5 to 6 hours easily without fading. Even in this season, I found it very long lasting. I think in summers very few lipsticks give such staying power.

Good points
It comes in a nice sturdy packaging with a glossy cover and
secured locking system.
The lipstick is quite
moisturizing to my lips.
The texture is very silky
and it glides easily on my lips.
I like the floral
fragrance it has.
The price is not unreasonable to see its quality and
quantity.
Bad points
If your lips are super dry, you need a lip balm before applying it.
Finally...
As i have told that it's one of my favorite lipstick so there's no need to write much now. The lipstick has all the qualities of a high class product. From packaging to smell, texture to pigmentation, lasting power to quantity everything is perfect. You can ignore some faults after getting so much advantages. I really love this lipstick and appreciate Faces for giving such a lovely product to their customers.
