While Europe is basking in the Sun, Asia is surely loving the cooler rains. Dressing up in monsoons can be a bit tricky for the season lies in between the very hot summers and the cooler autumn seasons. Sometimes it gets worse than summers, thanks to the humidity and at times, you feel like covering up like fall. This year, culottes have come to the rescue. Like many 70s fashion trends, culottes have made a major comeback.
Culottes are basically knee length or above the ankle length skirt-like, wide leg bottoms. They have been a must-have this spring, summer and a perfect choice for monsoons! From florals to pleats, from denim to black, the fashion world is flooded with pairs that will suit everyone's taste!
And, thanks to Stalkbuylove, who, religiously, keep us up to date with the latest fashion trends- I got my first pair of culottes- pleated and powder blue (I'm loving this colour a lot these days). I styled it on a hot sunny day, last week, with a buttoned up white shirt, a pair of wedges and accessorized the look for the final touch.
