Liz Earle Daily Eye Repair- review, photos

I don't need to say much about Liz Earle now... They have become a big name when we talk about skin care products. I have used many products from this brand and I can surely admit that I'm very impressed by their good and high quality many times. When they asked me to try out their Daily Eye Repair, I accepted it without hesitation. They sent me two products, one Daily Eye Repair in a small tube and the second was Soothing Line Serum. After using both products about one month today I'm going to review of Daily Eye Repair first. I'll review the second product later.

Liz Earle Daily Eye Repair

Liz Earle Daily Eye Repair is a product for daily care of your eye area. Every morning after moisturizing your face you can apply this eye cream around your eye area in a small amount.

What Liz Earle says….

Use this triple-action cream every morning after moisturizing to help reduce the appearance of fine lines. Light-reflective particles brighten dark under-eye shadows, while SPF10 mineral sunscreen helps protect this delicate area from UV light.

Weight

10ml

Price

£13.75

Packaging

The outer carton is very beautiful, beige colored & has purple flowers on the sides!

It comes in a cute little tube with a nozzle at the top after opening the cap. The required amount of cream comes out of the small holed nozzle!

Ingredients

Aqua (water), Tocopheryl acetate, PEG-20 stearate, Tocopherol (vitamin E), Titanium dioxide, Borago officinalis (borage) seed oil, Cetearyl alcohol, Panthenol, Hexyl laurate, Octyldodecanol, Propylene glycol, Echinacea angustifolia (echinacea) extract, Sodium lactate, Beta-carotene, Lactic acid, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Butylparaben, Ethylparaben, Propylparaben, Isobutylparaben.

Texture

The texture of this cream is neither too thick nor too runny. It does not feel heavy or sticky after applying & blending.

In the mirror of my own experience

I have some fine lines around my eyes and dark circle under my eyes which were not much dark but I noticed some redness under my eyes which I didn't like. I started to use this eye cream before one month and when I first applied it around my eyes in a small amount, I felt relaxed just after one application. The product quantity is very less and I could use it hardly for one month but to be honest, I felt the difference after 15 days. My dark circles were almost gone but I didn't find any difference on my fine lines. I don't know due to less quantity or something else but I was a bit disappointed. I don't know but maybe if I had used it continuously for two or three months, the results would have been more prominent. But for dark circles it did work very nicely and I think for this purpose it's great. The addition of SPF10 is a really good for everyday wear, but not really enough for summer when you would need more SPF. The cream is said to contain light-reflective particles to brighten dark under-eye shadows, and when you apply the cream, the skin around your eyes looks smooth and a bit shiny, not shiny like glittery, only a hint of brightness which I love so overall it's a fine product from Liz Earle.

Good points

Lovely packaging& it's easy to take out the product from the tube.
Easy to carry out beacuse it's so small.
you can feel difference just after first application.
A nice brightness shows around your eyes.
Works well for dark circle under the eyes.

Bad points

The quantity is very less.
Didn't see any difference on fine lines around the eyes.
Some may find it expensive keeping in mind the quantity.

Finally....

I'm not highly impressed with this eye cream because the main purpose was working on fine lines which it couldn't fulfill completely. I admit that it's great for dark circle but I can't say it'll work for much dark circle because I have a redness under my eye area which was disappeared after using it and I'm satisfied for it.

Rating

3.80/5

Recommendation

I'll recommend it if you have dark circles but not for fine lines because I have not seen any difference on it.

Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint- Review, swatches & photos

Liz Earle recently launched it's Sheer Skin Tint which is it's first step in 'COLOR'. Many of you might have used this skin tint already & there have been a number of reviews on many blogs. I've always loved using Liz earle skin care products, & I was very excited to know that they have launched something in their makeup range as well. But donno why I hadn't used this till now but surprisingly a few days ago, I found this in my mailbox!! Maybe some sort of a Christmas gift in advance from Liz Earle!
Anyways, let's move on to see what are my thoughts about Liz Earle Sheer Skin tint.

Liz Earle Sheer Skin Tint
It is more of a tinted moisturizer, which can be used to give a natural glow to your face & hide light imperfections as well. Has SPF 15 & consists of many useful ingredients.

A Christmas gift!!

Packaging

The packaging is really beautiful & elegant. The outer carton is Navy blue in color & has the shade name & number stuck at the back bottom side. The inner tube is shiny navy blue in shade & looks really beautiful! On opening the twist cap, there is a nozzle through which small amount of contents can be pushed out. Very convenient to use & travel friendly as well!

In the mirror of my own experience

I've used many liquid foundations from various brands, most of them having medium-high coverage. Yet I wanted to try one like a tinted moisturizer, which would give light-medium coverage & something that i could apply anytime I go shopping or for a small occasion. I had read many reviews about this skin tint from Liz Earle & wanted to try it. This Christmas, Liz Earle was really kind enough to provide me with this Sheer Skin tint & I've already mentioned that finding it in my mailbox was really astonishing & unexpected! Although I haven't used it on my face as yet, but I really liked the effect it gave to my skin on swatching. It glides into the skin quickly giving an even glow without leaving any dry patches. It is also capable of hiding small imperfections on the skin & a great fact about this tint is that it gives more coverage than a tinted moisturizer. Feels really light weight on the skin & gives a feeling that nothing has been used on the skin!   The texture is very moisturizing also & no other moisturizer is required underneath. Sheer Skin tint also has SF 15 so, you may skip a sunscreen.

Good points
Love the beautiful packaging which is so easy to use and very travel friendly.
The texture is moisturizing but never feels greasy after applying.
It gives a light and beautiful coverage to the skin.
Perfect for daily use.
Blends very nicely and looks like a part of the skin.
Very light weight.
Conceals the light spots on the skin.
Has SPF 15.

Bad points
May not be suitable for super oily skin.
Limited shades available.

Finally...

Overall it's a great daily wear tint & I would love using it often as if also contains useful ingredients which'll not harm the skin at all. Another fab Liz Earle product!!! I would love the fact if they launch more products in their makeup range...isn't it?

Rating

4.5/5

Recommendation
Yes of course! I would highly recommend this lovely product to all my readers!

Liz Earle Mineral Sun Cream- Review, photos

I have been highly impressed by Liz Earle skin care products. I have found their products quite impressive till now so when they asked me to try out their Mineral Sun Cream, I agreed without hesitation. I was sent this Sun Cream a month ago. I wanted to give it some time to get some effects from it and now I'm ready to write its review.

Liz Earle Mineral Sun Cream SPF20

It's a sunscreen to save our skin from the harmful sun's rays. After applying your regular moisturizer, you can apply this cream for making a thin shield between the sun and your skin.

What Liz Earle says...

Designed to reflect rather than absorb harmful UVA and UVB rays, we consider mineral sun creams to be the safest for your skin and less likely to cause sensitivity. Using cutting-edge technology, we’ve created a new and improved formulation that is light, non-whitening and easy to apply, offering great protection for the face and body. Perfect for all the family – including those with sensitive skin.

Weight

It comes in two size tube.150 ml and 30 ml tube as well.

Price

150 ml tube  £19.25
30 ml  £6.75

Ingredients

Caprylic/capric triglyceride, Citrus aurantium amara (orange) flower water, Zinc oxide, Titanium dioxide, Aqua (water), Glycerin, Polyhydroxystearic acid, Vitellaria paradoxa (shea butter), Cetearyl alcohol, Cetearyl glucoside, Lactic acid, Tocopherol (vitamin E), Panthenol, Punica granatum (pomegranate) seed extract, Camellia sinensis (green tea) leaf extract, Sorbitan olivate, Sorbitan palmitate, p-Anisic acid, Phenoxyethanol, Glyceryl caprylate, Sodium lactate, Alumina, Aluminum stearate, Xanthan gum, Isostearic acid, Methylisothiazolinone, Benzoic acid, Dehydroacetic acid, Ethylhexylglycerin, Polyaminopropyl biguanide.

Packaging

The sun cream comes in a light purple sturdy and practical plastic tube with flip- flop cap. The packaging is cute and easy to carry out.

Texture

The texture is thick and a bit sticky. It's quite like tinted sunscreen. It can even cover your light spots because the shade of the cream is light beige.

In the mirror of my own experience

I have been a fan of Liz Earle products & have great expectations with all it's products. The texture of this sunscreen is thick and takes some time to blend well. You'll have to make sure that it has blended well while applying to avoid that white sunscreen cast. At first I applied it when the weather was quite warm, I loved its smell & the texture too is not much sticky. For winters it's really good & it moisturizes the skin also. The problem with this cream is that it has SPF20 which is not sufficient in a warm country like India. I think Liz Earle should increase the SPF to 30 to 40. However It's a mineral sunscreen full of beneficial ingredients. So ladies who find their skin exhibiting sensitivity to chemical sunscreens could surely go for this cream. It never broke me out while I've been using it.

Good points

Nice sturdy packaging, travel friendly.
It's totally a mineral sunscreen with very useful ingredients.
It can cover light spot on the skin like a light tinted moisturizer.
A tiny amount is enough to cover up the whole face and neck.
It hasn't broken me out ever.
Very goof for the chilly weather.

Bad points

The texture is a bit thick.
You have to blend it properly. Don't apply it while you are in a hurry.
SPF is not enough for my country.

Finally....

Overall it's a good product, but not as awesome as other Liz Earle's products. I love the light texture of this sunscreen which didn't make my skin oily and gets absorbed it quickly. Apart from this I would love a sunscreen with high SPF. In India the weather is very hot sometimes so a high SPF sunscreen is necessary to save our skin from the hot sunrays.

Rating

3.80/5

Recommendation

The ladies who have sensitive skin and want to stay away from chemical sunscreen should try it once especially in the cold weather of India.

This sunscreen can be purchased from Liz Earle website.

Liz earle Sheer Gold shimmer- review, swatches & photos

Hey everyone!

In India the brightness of colors, sparkles and shimmers are must for every festival. In festivals, we attend a lot of parties and functions, light shaded shimmery dresses & makeup. But glitters in the dresses and makeup is not enough, right? Glittery bodies, especially on the hands etc will make you look even more gorgeous & glamorous! How beautiful would it be if there are some sparkles sparkling on the exposing parts of our body but there shouldn't be over exposing of glitter, only a light sparkling glow on our body and face. Keeping this in mind, Liz Earle has produced this Sheer Gold Shimmer which is perfect for this festive season.

Liz Earle Superskin Concentrate- review, photos

I never used any beauty oil on my skin ever, so when Liz Earle approached me to review their Superskin Concentrate, I hesitated at first because I couldn't imagine to apply an oil on my skin for the whole night. I thought, how greasy would be it but then I agreed due to my deep trust on this brand. I have used some products before and if you're my regular reader, you would be knowing my views about their products. Liz Earle has become a trusting name in the skincare products world.

Liz Earle Superskin Body Cream- Review, Photos

Hey dear readers,
It seems winter has started knocking in here, after the heavy rains the atmosphere in the Doon valley is getting a bit cold. Winter begins here as October starts approaching so we all get careful about our skin in winter. I'll write about some good products in my coming posts which are perfect for winter. These days, I have got many mails from the ladies which have mature and super dry skin. They have a complain from my blog that I always review about the products which are essential for young ladies. They have advised me to write about every type of skin because they are regular readers of Chamber of Beauty and my ignorance to mature skin disappoints them. But ladies,I don't agree from your complains and want to say that if you are a regular reader of COB, you would have read my reviews some products like Nature's Co White Tea night cream, Queen Tinted foundation etc. But I promise you that I'll be more careful about this inshallah.Today I'm going to review this Liz Earle's Superskin Body Cream which is perfect to save our skin from the dry chilly weather. It's free from harsh ingredients and can completely give high nourishment to our body.

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser- Review & photos

During your facial in any beauty clinic, one thing that is usually common is that when they cleanse the face after massaging, always wipe the rest of the cream using a soft wet cloth dubbed in warm water and squeeze it before wiping the face. After this process, they dub the cloth in a chilled water, squeeze it and then wipe off again. I follow this way only when I clean my face after massaging at home and in my opinion, it’s the best way to wipe the face and far better than cleaning with cotton wool.
When I saw Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser, I realized that this product is made keeping the same process in mind and after using it I found it to be the best cleanser I have ever used.

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser
It's a cleanser with the same method I have mentioned above.
