Recently, The Body Shop added a new product  Vitamin E Moisture-Protect Emulsion in this range.  Read about the first impression of this range here. The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture-Protect Emulsion comes in a pink sleek jar with a black lid. The jar has a black pump dispenser that helps control the right amount of the product. The packaging is quite small but handy - easy as pie to fit in our bags. 
The application of the product is uncomplicated as well; just press the pump to take out the required amount.

The product is white in color and has a very pleasant smell, a bit like fresh chamomile. It's not strong but very delicate and mild. I really loved the smell. I'm pretty sure it won't bother people with sensitive noses. 

The product consistency: it's a bit runny and light. 

An emulsion is a lighter version of a moisturizer that is suitable for all skin types. It can be used in all seasons. 

I'll be honest; when I first opened the bottle and dispensed out the product on my hand I was a bit crestfallen to see light texture. My skin is dry and I need rich textured sunscreen. I was not sure if it would be enough for my skin for this season (yeah, I'm looking at you, dry winter!). But I was pleasantly surprised to find it completely was. 

I need 2-3 pumps to cover the whole face and neck. I apply the emulsion in the morning after cleansing the skin. Sometimes, when my skin feels too dry, I use a light layer of moisturizer before applying it.

It spreads on the skin very easily and gets promptly absorb into the skin. It settles to a powder-like finish which I love. It gives a silky and velvety effect after application and never leaves a whitish cast on the skin. The best part of this emulsion is that despite being so delicate and light, it deeply hydrates and nourishes the skin. The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture-Protect Emulsion also has SPF 30 PA+++ to provide sun protection.

It does wonder when used under the makeup. Yeah, it a fantastic base for makeup. It more than aids in keeping the makeup in place for a long time. 

I've been using this emulsion for the last two weeks and I'm completely satisfied with its performance. My skin is totally delighted and looks healthy and radiant. 

I don't agree with the claim of '48 hour moisturizing effect' but it does work effectively for one whole day. I use it in the morning and I don't feel the need to reapply. It think this is enough for a good sunscreen.

Moisturize skin well
It hydrates and gives a silky effect to the skin instantly

Doesn't make the skin greasy or sticky at all

Contains some amazing natural ingredients
It works great under the makeup

Bad points
Some may find it a bit expensive

Finally...

Overall The Body Shop Vitamin E Moisture-Protect Emulsion a wonderful product for normal to dry skin. It is very light and still nourishes the skin and keeps the skin moisturized and soft. It protects the skin from harmful sun rays effectively. So if you are looking for a light sun protection moisturizer that contains a lot of beneficial ingredients, this will be an ideal product for you.
