I was searching for a face cleanser for my skin that works like a cleanser and cleansing milk at the same time. I have always wanted my cleanser to be mild on the skin but work effectively. I got such a cleanser recently and that is the Botani Olive Soothing Cleanser and Makeup Remover. I found this product completely according to my skin needs. Let's see how!

In the mirror of my own experience

Botani Olive Soothing Cleanser and Makeup Remover comes in green packaging box. Inside the box, the actual product kept in a glass bottle with a pump dispenser. The pump controls the amount of product you want each time. The pump is protected by a small transparent lid that is tight and secured. The packaging is not very attractive to look at but is totally convenient to use. While travelling, one should be careful as the bottle is made of glass.

The cleanser has a lavender smell that feels soothing and pleasing. It is off white in color. The texture is neither too thick nor too runny, it's creamy and easy to massage.
I need two pumps for regular cleansing of my face. It works gently and makes my skin clean and clear. It's delicate and keeps the skin soft and silky. I never feel tightness or dryness after using it even if I forget to apply the moisturizer immediately.

For pre cleanse, to remove the foundation I take three pumps of cleanser. I use a cotton pad to remove my makeup. For heavy and waterproof eye makeup and mascara, I use a separate eye makeup remover. But for regular eye makeup (non-waterproof) I use this cleanser and it works great. It cleanses and at the same time protects my skin. It is very gentle on my eye areas. After pre cleanse, I finally apply the cleanser for removing all traces of makeup. I'm used to double cleansing my face so it doesn't bother me at all.

Finally...

I'm really happy to find a cleanser like this. It works just the way I wanted. It's natural, gentle and effectively cleans my skin. I am sure it will be work to find another cleanser like this after it gets over because I guess Botani doesn't ship worldwide. Australian skincare products are really fabulous. I hope they make way into the Indian market soon. Highly recommend to all those with normal, dry or mature skin!
