Packaging
Rouge Bunny Rouge Kiss Elixir Lip Balm comes in a black matte and glossy box featuring some flowers on the box in self design. Inside the box you get the balm in a black glossy tube. I really love a lip balm in a tube packaging. It's hygienic,very travel friendly and easy to carry out.
Texture and Smell
The products has a clear formula and a plush texture that instantly nourishes the lips. It has subtle vanilla scent which I love, It's such a pleasant smell.
Application
I squeeze a tiny amount of the balm from the tube on my finger tip and apply it on my lips. You can use a brush if you want but for me this is an easy way to apply.
Effect
It's a wonderful lip balm. I applied it for the first time when I was going to apply a matte lipstick. I felt my lips so chapped and super dry. At first I thought I should scrub my lips before applying the lipstick but then the thought of truing this lip balm hit my mind because I felt it's a great chance to try that balm so I squeezed out a small quantity and applied it on my lips. Trust me, I felt a great relief instantly. I felt as if my lips have sucked the balm inside them. After a while I noticed my lips smooth and ready to apply the lipstick. Usually my lips are not super dry but whenever I apply this balm on my lips, they feel kind of plump and juicy. It is a water-free lip balm that is enriched with sweet almond oil, argan oil, shea butter and aloe extract. It feels rich, soothing, hydrating and nourishing on the lips, without being greasy or tacky. No doubt this is a life changer product for dry chapped lips.
Lasting power
Well, it's the best part of this product. The biggest problem with most of the lip balms is to have to apply them again and again to hydrate the lips but you will not encounter this problem with this product, my lips didn't feel dry or chapped even after 5-6 hours. I think it's wonderful!
Finally...
Finally, this is a must have for lip balm lovers, Rouge Bunny Rouge lovers and of course those in need of immediate lip hydration especially when you have no time to scrub your lips. The down side is of course it's price but if you don't mind the price and want to have a high quality lip balm in your purse you can surely give it a try. I highly recommend it to my readers.
