You always hesitate when you are wearing lipstick or gloss and your beloved your child wants a kiss from you. you want to show your affection by kissing someone you love and leave a sign of your lip color on his/her face, don't you think it looks embarrassing sometime? But you all know that now there are some lipsticks available in the market which can make you completely free from transferring your lip color while kissing someone.Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Lipcolors are such non transferable lipsticks. Today I'll write some details and my experience of this liquid lipstick.

The packaging of the Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipsticks is sleek and pretty.

Each shade comes housed in a long clear tube which you can view the shade inside

topped off with a plain black lid embossed with Revlon's trade mark font. I love the packaging; it's simple but sturdy!

The shade Platinum Petal is a slight metallic pink shade which is suitable for all skin tones! It looks really beautiful with both western as well as Indian outfits!

The texture is neither too thick nor runny it's just perfect for applying on my lips. It spread on the lips so easily. I have used some other brand liquid lipstick but this lipstick impressed me most with its texture.
Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick has amazing pigmentation which is unbelievable, just one swipe and you are done. The color glides on my lips like wonder. I have read from some blogger that it make dry the lips but I didn't face this problem ever. Many times I applied i till morning to evening but neither my lips became dry nor I needed to reapply it again. The lasting power as Revlon claims is just wonderful. It lasts for whole day and even more very easily, you can reapply the lipstick just for refresh the application if you want because after 6 hours you can feel a bit dryness and some creasing on the lip.

The effect I got after applying is just fabulous. It makes my look so fresh and lively. The best quality of this lipstick is that it makes me free from all fears to transfer my color on my teeth or  on other things. I think it's a necessary product for the occasions when you are planing to go out for a whole day trip.

The only down side(if you want to say it down side) of this lipstick is its removal, you can't remove it without a good makeup remover. So be cautious if you are going to wear this ipstick, make sure you have a good makeup remover. Ordinary cleanser doesn't work at all.

Finally I'm very happy with this product and now I'm planning to buy some more shades from this range but currently I love this shade because it suit with my complexion well.

In the mirror of my own experience

Matte lip colors attract me at my first sight, for I'm not a great fan of shimmers or frosty lip colors on my lips. Elf Matte Lip Color was sounded good and I decided to try it out and after my own experience I can say that I got a lovely product which I really love.

Packaging

Elf's matte lip color comes in a black and coral packaging which looks beautiful.Inside the packaging we find a jumbo sized lip pencil with a twist tip to distribute product. This lip pencil comes with a sharpener at the end.Overall it's a exclusive and decent packaging. It's quite light weight and easy to carry out.

Texture

The texture is so creamy and velvety for a matte lipstick which are usually very drying on the lips. I find this great with or without lip balm underneath, but I would always recommend wearing lip balm underneath if you have dry lips.

Pigmentation

Elf's matte lip color in the shade coral offers a great pigmentation and very buildable. You can get the right shade just one or two swipes.

Application

It get's applied very easily & you don't even need a lip liner. It glides on smoothly but takes a little effort to get applied evenly. Like all matte lip products it is best to use on smooth lips, if used on dry/chapped lips product will settle in cracks.

Effect

I love the effect which I get after wearing it every time. It gives a natural and cool effect on my face. I can use it for daily wear. You never feel that you have applied something on your lip after applying it which I love.I applied it with quite dark eye makeup and it gives nude like effect.

Lasting power

It's long lasting too. It lasts for 5 to 6 hours easily on my lips which is good.

Good points

Lovely packaging which is very travel friendly too.
It comes with a sharpener too which is another plus point because sharpening the stick lip color has been really a headache without proper sharpener.
Silky soft texture.
Super pigmented.
Long lasting.
Gives a beautiful soft look to your lips.
Very reasonable price.

Bad points

May settle in cracks if applied on dry or chapped lips.
The name is quite deceptive as this shade is not exactly coral but very close to it.

Finally...

I love this lip color! First of all, I haven't really dry lips so I don't have any problem in using a matte lip color. If you have super dry lips, apply a lip primer, conditioner, or balm underneath for better results. It's super pigmented with creamy and soft texture. I love the coral, which has a little more of nude. It looks gorgeous with a dark or smokey eyes. I love the stick this comes in..Its like a fat pencil, but I can apply it more easily than normal lipstick. Overall, for four dollars you really can't complain. I was actually surprised by how great the shades are for the price point.

In the mirror of my own experience

I applied it on my lips and the first application described its smoothness and intensity which one can only find in some high brand lipsticks. After applying it I just love its finish and effect.

Packaging

Becca Sheer Tint Color comes in a heavy metal tube. "Becca" is stamped on the end of the cap, which screws on securely.

First of all I have to say that I really love the simple and elegant design of this lipstick which is a purse-friendly too. It  ”twists and locks” so it doesn’t open in your bag.It's a very swish, very glam silver lipstick tube which feels heavy.You can easily search it in your purse.

Texture

The texture of this lip tint is very lightweight and  so velvety and silky that you even feel only touching with your fingers.It feels light weight on the skin like feather.
the lipstick itself gives a very beautiful light coverage, and as the name suggests it reminds me of a tint. It gives enough of  colour but doesn’t feel heavy. The texture is lovely and it
looks beautiful even if your lips are not in the best condition.

 

Pigmentation

The pigmentation is just perfect for that 'flushed' look and the  color is buildable too. Only one or two swipes is enough to get the color. It's highly wearable and I can feel the quality in the product.It's a sheer formula but offers nice, even and beautiful  high coverage.

Application

I can say that the coverage varies between sheer and medium, depending on the way you apply them on your lips. If you apply just one or two swipe the effect will be quite light and natural but if you want high coverage you'll find it after 4 or five swipes.

Effect

The effect and finish, as shown on the swatches, is not frosty at all, even It contains no shimmer , but not matte either it leave your lips with a very subtle sheen,

classy enough to please those who dislike intensely any hint of frost on their lips!

I really love how this lipstick looks like on the lips, and this is the reason I'm posting a full face photo with this lipstick.
It has a very lovely cappuccino scent to it which I personally love. It is said that Lip Tint contains Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Honey and other essential fatty acids with natural anti-oxidants so I can use it without worrying for a whole day long.

Lasting power

Despite a sheer formula the lasting power is quite effective. No need to reapply for about 5 - 6 hours and for me it's not bad. If you want more, apply some loose powder on your lips before applying the lipstick and you'll see, this idea will really work.

Though the subtle shine doesn't stay on for very long, the color, however, lasts on your lips for a good few hours, I applied it yesterday and noticed that it lasted 5-6 hours easily on my lips  even it passed my lunch and ice cream test too, without settling into those finer lines. So I can say that it has great lasting power.

Good points

Elegant and beautiful packaging silver, sleek and heavy with a screw top that makes sure the lipstick won't accidentally open.

Awesome formula which is super moisturizing!

It provides creamy color with subtle shine and finish.

 I love the pleasant scent

Gives your lips a beautiful but natural effect. 

Doesn't make my lips dry at all.

Gives a very beautiful coverage and finish.

Long lasting.

Its beneficial ingredient , which is a mix of caramel, vanilla and cocoa butter.making it not just a lipstick but a lip treatment.

Bad points

Unfortunately, these luxury products are expensive, but from my experience so far, it's worth it!

Can melt in the hot & sultry weather so you should keep it in your refrigerator. 

Finally...

As you can see, I like  this product a lot and I wouldn’t mind trying out some other shades such as Valentina,Estella and Yasmina.I really love this lipstick, It gives a lovely finish to my lips and I feel something special after applying it so what more one can want from a lip color.

The most important thing is its advantageous ingredients which make me pleased that I have applied a good quality lipstick which not only beautifies my lips but also gives treatment it.
