Christmas in the air!
And just in time for Christmas is the Sleek Make-Up Celestial Palette which contains all the
glitter and festive shades you could ever need to see you through the festival and party! After the gorgeous jewel tones of the Vintage Romance collection, I was pretty excited to see what Sleek MakeUP was going to conjure up to match this futuristic space theme.
As always with Sleek MakeUP, the traditional, matte black
container comes encased in a graphic box to coordinate with the chosen
theme. With a large mirror and standard sponge-tip applicators, the
eyeshadows are really what, I am sure ,you are all excited about.
The Sleek Make-Up Celestial Palette contains what I would dub a fairly
varied colour range most of which I would deem to be Autumnal shades -
lots of rich jewel tones, earthy hues and of course metallic options
which are perfect for the festive season. The shades are as follows:
Solar
Solar
This is beautiful burgundy pink with great pigmentation and despite the glitter it is not overly dry nor gritty in texture.
Astral Blue
It's a royal blue matte cornflower base with lots of lovely silver
glitter speckles, a little dry in texture but no faults in terms of
color pay off.
Aurora
Aurora is a deep turquoise with lots of silver glitter, much like above a little dry but with amazing pigmentation.
Galactic
A slightly blue based metallic silver that has a butter soft texture and great pigmentation. Love its texture.
Earth Shine
This one is another glitter based shade this time around it is a matte
navy base that performs much like the other glitter shades. It'll be very helpful for a smokey eye makeup due to its dark base.
Dark Matter -
Meteoric
This one is my most favorite shade quite similar to MAC's Black Tied. Like Earth
Shine the glitter is more obvious due to the dark almost black base. it has great color pay off and is a beautiful shade for party season.
Stargaze -
It's an extremely rich lavender purple shade that can be applied in a thick
layer for more colour, or blended out to create a soft hue, and two
fabulous duo-chrome shades.
Saturn's Ring
Such a beautiful shade and not quite
matte but great pigmentation with a somewhat soft texture.A duo chrome deep velvet purple shade that can appear
reflect either purple, pink or blue in certain lights.Saturn's Ring
Meteoric
It's is a pink-toned cranberry shade that is creamy and pigmented
Despite being a matte shade this is like velvet in texture and has minimal
fall out. It's not chalky at all.
Terrestrial
Terrestrial
It's a soft apple green matte shade that much like above not chalky at all but is a bit weak in terms of color pay off .
Lunar
Lunar
It's an icy silver-blue cool-toned metallic shade just like Galactic that fit well
with this space themed palette. As I have come to expect with Sleek
MakeUP's metallic shades, these were creamy and applied nicely with one
sweep.
Eclipse -
Eclipse -
This one is a green based brown that reflects more green in the
natural light.It's almost identical to MAC's Club eyeshadow with its warm brown and forest green tones.
Finally,The 'Sleek Make-Up Celestial Palette' is an incredible palette with a great
variety of shades and formulas that allow you to create both day and
