After using it once, it was clear enough that this product would suit slightly oily (combination) skin more than my normal-dry skin. Pond's Age Miracle Deep Action Night Cream- review, photos

This winter I have started using Pond's Age Miracle Deep Action Night Cream for a try out because my skin had started to become dry and I also noticed some fine lines on my face. So just for a trial I started using this cream since about a month ago. Today I'm going to review this cream after my one month experience.

I have written a lot about Pond's creams packaging so will not go into the details. In short it's a lovely packaging but quite heavy for traveling and a bit unhygienic because you have to touch the product again and again with your fingers.

I have been using this cream since 5 weeks and  after a month I can notice the difference in my skin.My face looks so smooth, fair, and pinkish, and my skin feels tight, glowing and radiant. You are going to see my bare skin in some coming posts because of Muharram is going on.

I use it every night before I go to bed after cleansing my face. I apply it all over the face and neck in small dots then blend in an upward motion with my finger tips, giving a short and quick massage. The cream blends so easily and sinks into my skin very quickly leaving a soft and supple skin feeling. 
The texture is neither rich nor light so it's perfect for normal to dry skin and oily skin at same time. I'll advise the oily skin ladies to use it with one or two drops of  rose water, in this way the texture will be perfect for your skin.
As far as I'm concerned, I really love my skin after waking up in the every morning finding it more bright, supple and fresh, I have also noticed a reduction in the fine lines to a great extend. 
Quantity wise it's quite enough in this cost because it lasts for a month easily so you can easily afford it each month.

 Finally, I love this lovely night cream and would love to use it again and again. My jar is going to get over now so I have to buy it soon. I had used Pond's Gold Radiance Night Cream before it which was also a sweetheart for my skin so I haven't yet decided that which one I would prefer this time but if you compare the price between the two, Pond's Age Miracle Deep Action Night Cream will be a winner.

Ponds Gold Radiance Night Cream- review, photos

I had heard many wonderful things about Pond’s Gold Radiance range & after finishing with my Ponds Flawless white night cream which is really good, I wanted to try something new.  I had been feeling some tiredness since a few days due to hectic schedule( you know what business is like)and I saw its reflection on my face first. Apart from this my health was not in its best of condition so I thought it would be a good chance to test this night cream on my skin.

I’ll first write something about its packaging which is really beautiful but quite similar to Pond’s other skincare ranges like white beauty and anti-aging ranges, the difference is just of the color which is of course golden! Inside the gold packaging there is the same stylish jar which is heavy but classy; a spatula for taking out the cream is kept inside the package. It’s a lovely and classy packaging the only downside of the packaging is that it’s not a travel friendly.

 

The texture of the product is very fine, it’s neither thick nor runny it’s just fine for applying on my skin at night. It is luxuriously creamy. It's surprisingly light and it glides on exceptionally well when you put it on your face. Even if the weather is getting warmer, it feels just right. It's not greasy in the slightest. 

I have been using this cream since 3-4 weeks and I’m very impressed by its result. It has worked great on my skin. Every morning when I saw my it's looks pleasantly radiant! The gold micro particles definitely do their job & they give a light sheen to your face. I love my skin these days, it looks soft smooth and fresh. I'm not sure about its effect on aging lines because I didn't use it's complete range like gold serum or moisturizer but I'm sure that if using just night cream can work so well the full range would definitely work great. I will surely want to try other products of this range too. No doubt that Pond's products are effective and work effectively on all type skins.

Finally, I'm loving this night cream and I think it's one of the best night creams that I have used till now. I also love Pond's Gold Radiance Youthful Night Repair's instant brightening effect. It makes my skin look more fairer instantly after application but not ghostly fair.The texture is so nice that my skin absorb the cream so quickly, I never feel greasy effect after applying it. It's really an ideal night cream.

I have used many products of Pond's and mostly found them great. When Pond's sent me  their latest WHITE BEAUTY DAILY SPOT LESS LIGHTENING CREAM, I was very happy to try out it on my face. After using this product for about 15 days, I'm now able to write its review in true terms.

How to use

It can be used as a daily day cream, can be applied after cleansing the face in the morning.

In the mirror of my own experience

I have been using many Pond's  products so I had a great expectation from their new cream. I noticed first its price which is surprisingly less in comparison to their other skin products which is really a good part of it.

Packaging

The packaging is beautiful same like their AGE MIRACLE & GOLD RADIANCE range. The jar is stylish white a pink lid but the whole of it is a bit heavy and inconvenient for traveling but looks pretty while kept on the dressing table.

Texture

The texture of the cream is quite mousse like and a bit thick. I don't like this type of texture because it makes my skin a bit dry which I don't like.

Application

I have been using it as a day cream in the morning after washing my face. I take a less quantity for applying because it leaves a white cast on the face. You have to blend it very well to absorb into the skin. The good thing is that it absorb quickly into the skin after blending.

Effect

When I first applied it on my face, I felt a bit disappointed about its texture because it was not sufficient to moisturize my skin completely.  I'll not say that it made my skin dry after applying but its true that my skin doesn't become fully moisturize.
To save mt skin to be dry I always cleanse my face with my cleanser and then apply it in a less quantity and in this way my skin doesn't feel dry at all even it looks more bright and healthy after applying it. It claims to make your face spotless but after using 15 days, I didn't  get any noticeable difference on my only tiny brown spot on my forehead but that spot is quite old so may be it might take some long time to reduce but overall it's a good cream especially for oily and combination skin toned people.

Good points

Beautiful packaging
Thick texture which is able to cover the whole face in a very less quantity.
It doesn't leave a white cast if is applied in a less quantity.
It has SPF 20 
My face looks fresh, bright and healthy after applying it.
It gets absorbed into the skin quickly after blending.
The cost is very reasonable which can be afforded by everyone.
Easily available .

Bad points

The texture is quite mousse like which I don't like.
It's not sufficient to moisturize my skin fully.
It has SPF 20 but as I apply it in very less quantity so I don't think I get the advantage of its SPF completely. In this way I have to apply my sunscreen too.
I'm not sure about the fact that it reduces spots from the face after using it, maybe a long use will give this advantage.
It's not perfect for dry skin.
 

Finally...

I'm happy about this cream but not fully, because it's not like Pond's other creams, I have used till now. The most disappointing part of this cream is not to moisturize my skin completely in this season, I can't even imagine to use it in winters. But it's my personal opinion based on my own experience, I'm sure it's an ideal cream for oily and combination skin. The price is very reasonable and it's very nice thing for girls who can afford it very easily.

Today I'm reviewing two products which I had bought recently.

So the first one is Ponds moisturizing cold cream.

I had asked Tanveer about what to use in winters coz just like my mom my skin also gets dry in winters and she had recommended to use this cream.

What it claims: moisture+ nourish+ protect

Moisture- Ponds' quenching moisturizers with Sodium PCA and glycerin that gently moisturize skin and maintain the skin hydration balance.

Nourish- Skin nourisher with soya protein, sunflower oil and skin lipids for soft supple skin.

Protect- SkinInsta- shield with mineral oil, Emmolients and sillicone conditioners protects skin from harsh winters and preserves its youthful beauty.

It is dermatologically tested.

How to use: Gently massage it on your face and neck in upward circular motions twice daily.

I was not too sure whether it is good or not so I picked up a trial pack of 30 ml just for Rs 27.

I've used it twice and found it great for winters...It's a bit sticky which is good for dry skin.

The bottle is so cute...white and blue combination.

Till now I haven't found any cons in it and I'll surely use it in winters.

Thanks a lot Tanveer my mom is very satisfied with this and has decided to buy the big bottle after using this pack. She liked Nivea cream for winters but this one is better than that.So if you guys have dry skin in winters you should surely try it and if you have how did you find it to be??

So now let's come on to the second product- Dove anti perspirant deodorant 1/4 moisturizing cream in grapefruit and lemongrass scent.

I've used deodorants from Faa, Eva and Spinz...so thought of trying out something new and picked up this.

It is dermatologically tested.

It gives a 24 hr protection which is almost true.

It has got a light smell which is a good thing as I usually don't prefer strong smelling deos....they really give me a headache!

The fragrance is lovely and the packaging is good.

This is one of the best deodorants I've ever used...So have you guys used it?? 

WHICH FAIRNESS CREAM WOULD YOU PREFER......

I hope you guys would have enjoyed the weekend. Commonwealth Games has started and India has already won three four golds and two three silvers and three bronze too. We have also won the first test cricket against Australia so there are a lot of good news and hope this will go on.

So lets talk about today's post. Yesterday my neighbor Kiran consulted me to suggest her about any good fairness cream. She had been using the Ponds white beauty cream before and she was not satisfied with it. She has an oily and dark skin with lot of dark spots and blemishes. She admitted that before using this cream her skin was in worse condition and after using two and three bottles, she has got some difference in her skin but it's the human nature that wants more and more.

I learned Kiran’s experience about this product-

This comes in a nice bottle (She had the small sized one)

It’s not sticky at all so very nice for oily and combination skins.

She loves its nice smell.

She realized some good effects after using this and it was showing very clear on her face so it can be honestly said that she hasn't wasted her money.

Some minus points on this product-

It gives a dry effect after applying on the face so it’s not for dry skin at all.

Kiran couldn't completely get rid of her dark spots and blemishes so that is the other minus point.

         I suggested another fairness cream: Olay natural white which I bought for a try but got it to be very nice for my skin.

My own experience with this product-

I agree that I have a fair skin and never have had any dark spots but a couple of months ago, I found some brown spots on my forehead and it had made me restless. After some research with magazines and internet I decided to buy this one and thankfully can say that I’m not disappointed at all.

What I like-

I started with the trial pack which was in a cute tube.

The packaging of this product is quite comfortable and nice.

I love its light smell.

It feels little bit greasy when we apply it but after 2-3 minutes it’s not greasy at all.

It makes my skin smooth and soft.

It’s really effective and I have clearly seen the difference in my skin after almost half a tube.

My brown spots are completely gone.

I think the cost is worth the effect of this cream: Rs 99 for 20 gm tube.

I can’t say about the fairness claim honestly, I think Kiran will tell about it.

No dislikes.( My own experience)

 But yes I’m not too sure how it will work for too much oily skin. But as it is not greasy at all so it is good for oily skin also.

Will I purchase it again?

I think yes…whenever I’ll need to.
