This is Shanaya again, with another face wash review from Pond's. You can consider me as a Pond's fan. You have already read my review of Pond's White Beauty Pearl face wash and know about my skin's nature but still, I'll remind you that my skin's texture is combination.

Pond’s Pure White Facial Foam has the technology of activated carbon that attracts deep-seated “black” dirt caused by impurities, oil, and makeup to reveal a pure white you. It is the first of its kind to be formulated with activated carbon, which works with “black attracts black”. Carbon when heated or “activated” becomes 8x porous; hence, increasing its ability to detoxify and gently exfoliate dead skin cells while retaining the needed moisture.

Packaging

The Pond’s Pure White Deep Cleansing Facial Foam with Activated Carbon comes in a simple black tube with a flip open cap. It's totally travel-friendly and hygienic too. I love its sleek packaging.(By the way this is a sample size)

Smell and texture

The Pond’s Pure White Deep Cleansing Facial Foam has a light scent that I love. I don't like the strong smell in my skin care products. It's a grayish colored face wash that indicates that it contains carbon in it.

Application & Effect

The Pond’s Pure White Deep Cleansing Facial Foam lather very well. I need a small amount each time. It cleans the skin really well. It removes all dirt and impurities and makes it completely clean. The only problem is that it makes my dry areas( cheeks and jaw) tight and drier. But it works great on my T-zone areas (oily parts of my skin) so I think it'll be more effective for oily skin beauties. I have to apply my moisturizer just after washing my face. The effect after washing this face is wonderful because it makes the skin brighter and glowing. But this effect stays only for a few hours.I think like most Pond’s products, this aims to whiten the skin, but I never buy a product to whiten my skin. I love that it doesn't contain SLS and paraben. I noticed that it has lightened my pimples spots, but It did nothing with the blackheads on my nose.

Finally...

Overall it's a good face wash for oily and combination skin. It effectively and thoroughly cleans, which makes it great to use after removing makeup. This removes all traces of it. My face feels squeaky clean after each use.It makes the skin bright and glowing instantly. The effect stays for a few hours. It makes the dry areas of a combination skin tighter so it's not for dry skin at all. I'll recommend it to oily and combination skin girls.
