Faces Velvet Kohl - review, swatches

As you all know that Faces has launched recently some new eye products Superlongwear kohl, Beyond Black Eyeliner & Velvet kohl to get that sensational & seductive look.. Today I'm going to review one of these three and this is Velvet Kohl.

Faces Velvet Kohl comes in a wooden sharpen-able pencil packaging which I find very easy to use and sharpens really easily with the cheapest of sharpeners! The only downside of sharpenable pencils is product wastage during sharpening which is eliminated in mechanical twist-up packaging.  But these are much more hygienic!
Faces Velvet Kohl is nice shiny black pencil with the Faces logo and with a black beautiful cap to close it tightly.

 

It has very soft and creamy texture and glides like a gel liner. At first application, I love the smoothness of the formula, softness of the pencil, and rich color achieved without a lot of a layering.It glides on as smoothly as any gel liner I've tried, and is perfectly inky black from the first touch.

  

I has been using Faces Long Wear Eye Pencil in grey shade which I love so much. Faces Velvet Kohl is even better in quality. It's so smooth and most pigmented eye pencil that requires maximum of one swipe for getting desired result. I love to apply it in my waterline When I need an instant eye make and it instantly brightens my face and give a healthy and soft look. I love its creamy and smooth texture. It's completely waterproof and the staying power is really impressive. It doesn't smudge at all because of cold winter but I'm sure like Faces Long Wear Eye Pencil it'll not smudge in my eyes.It stays for really long hours on my eyes, very long lasting. In fact I never imagine about so long stay from it but it made me really impressed.

 

 

Finally I'm so impressed about this eye pencil. I'm really impressed with this pencil. I'd love it more if it were a gel liner, but still I'm happy with this pencil kohl. It offers gentle, smooth application and maximum pigment. If you love a bit of black kohl on your waterline, do check this out. I love its quality. I would love to apply it again and again.
