Today I'm going to review this lovely palette from L’Oreal Paris, which was also a part of their L’Or sunset collection, celebrating the completion of golden 100 years of Indian Cinema.

I recently reviewed the L.A. colors eyeshadow quad- HERE & I created an eye makeup using 3 shades from this quad. The combination of these shades looks great on the eys & is perfect for a night occasion look, mainly traditional.

K-Palette Shiny Star Eyes Quad- Review & Swatches

You all must be busy in shopping for Christmas and new year parties so why don't you try something new for this party? But what? Some new eye shadows...what do you think? I'll show you an exciting eye shadow from K-Palette which can really give you a good option to choose something new.

K-Palette Shiny Star Eyes- Rose Star

The K-Palette Shiny Star-Rose Star is a palette with four exciting colors shadows along with an applicator. K-Palette is very famous for its eyeliners but I really didn't know that they produce other beauty products too. When I saw their eye shadows on Beauty carousel in many colors, I chose this quad in Rose Star.

What they say

An eye colour palette with excellent texture and graduating tones to create different looks – metallic, smoky, luscious. Mix and highlight to bring out the contour of the eyes for a fascinating effect.

Packaging

The packaging is good but not very impressive. It comes in a compact box with transparent lid and with a small applicator. The transparent lid is without any mirror due to which it's an incomplete packaging. The applicator provided with the palette is small but useful for those who use the applicator. For me it's useless because I only use eye brushes for applying eye shadows.

Shades

The palette has five shades shadows in it. Most of them are pastel and frosty.

Shade-1

This shade is whitish pearly gold with golden sparkles in it. 

Shade-2

This is a beautiful, soft baby pink shade which is very pigmented on the eyes.

Shade-3

This one is a pinkish-brown shade, not too shimmery & pigmented as well.

Shade-4

Ash brown shade, which is quite pigmented & not too shimmery also. But it is not easily blendable.

Texture

I'm highly impressed with its texture which is very silky and smooth. It feels so lovely to  apply a  shadow with buttery texture.

In the mirror of my own experience

I hadn't expected much from this palette because I hadn't used anything from this brand before, not had I heard much about these palettes. But just after swatching it, my thoughts totally changed. The texture is so soft & silky which highlights it's quality. After using it, I was very impressed by this quad as the shades, the texture, the pigmentation, everything was really fabulous. The shades are highly pigmented containing shimmers, but the shades on the left are not too shimmery & are wearable, even in daytime. As far as the one on the right is concerned, it is not too pigmented but has beautiful sparkles in it which decorate the eyes & is perfect for a shimmery eye makeup! All the shades are quite blendable & last long, without much fall-out. The selection of shades is great, with pink, browns & golden together.

Good selection of shades, can be used for both day & night makeup.

Smooth texture & blend quite well.

High pigmentation of most of the shades.

No fall-out & long-lasting.

The shimmers are not too intense.

The packaging is not too impressive as there is no mirror provided.

Some shades like the dark brown one is not easily blendable.

Finally....

Finally I would say that I'm very impressed with this beautiful palette <3 I would love to try some other quads too!

Faces Cosmetics i-shine Quartet- Review, swatches & FOTD

Hi beauties

We all women are super greedy when it comes about the cosmetics especially eyeshadows, even if we have a big collection of every color we still want to check out the latest launches of various brands..hhaha..isn’t it true?

When I had seen this quad from Faces on their website since then I couldn’t forget it but unfortunately Faces cosmetics not available in my city. I wanted to buy some of its products in trip of Kolkata but unluckily, that trip schedule was too tight that I had to miss that chance. But I’m happy that I got a chance to try it out and I’m really impressed with this quad.
