One can never, ever have enough accessories which is why I can't stop collecting necklace, earrings etc from so many different places! In one of my recent OOTD you got to see me wearing a lovely pair of studs from Stardustfashion. Stardust is an instagram accessories store from where you can get all sorts of gorgeous neckpieces, earrings, headphone jack plugs etc. They were kind enough to send me a gift box which contained a classy statement necklace, a cute pair of studs & two adorable headphone jack plugs!

"I have enough accessories/jewellery" said no girl ever! I really love collecting various kinds of accessories from different stores. Recently I came across a store called The Bling Stores on Instagram and was really enamoured by their collection! 

They were kind enough to provide me with some unique pieces from their collection and frankly speaking, I've never owned anything like these in my collection. The accessories include a golden body chain,  a pair of metallic rings and a pair of earrings.

It's getting hotter and hotter in so many parts of the country, thankfully the temperatures are still under 40 here.Global Warming or whatever, summers were never so brutal (more than 2000 people in India have died this year due to the heat)- and this is really disturbing! 

Oh btw, happy 1st of JUNE everyone!

Coming on to today's outfit, it's pretty casual- I paired my new oversized Zaful top with a pair of blue jeggings and suede black flats.

The colour of this top is a very fresh green and it is of excellent quality. It's plain but fashionable at the same time. Zaful is a fabulous online store for women fashion and their collection is very impressive! 

I accessorized my look with a bracelet and bangles and gemstone earrings, also from Zaful! 

Christmas and jewels!

Before I say anything else, wish you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS! This is a wonderful time of the year, that brings in an air of warmth and joy all around no matter how cold it is! Christmas is a not so celebrated festival here in Dehradun but I still remember what an awaited day it used to be when I lived in Calcutta (now Kolkata). Cakes, gifts, carols, puddings were the best of things one can imagine as a child and we were certainly not deprived of those pleasures!

My new denim dress!

I can't help if this is getting monotonous...because i just can't resist denim dresses! A while back I showed you more of a denim midi dress, but this time, it's a washed, kind of pencil denim dress, my latest pick from Blackfive.com! The unique thing about this dress are the large sized pockets which make it all the more street smart! Love the comfortable material & the perfect fitting of this dress, you can style it the way I have, with a touch of pink or in a more "not-so-girlish" way! I tried to keep a balance between the two with a pink bag & dark blue chunky heels. And not to mention, a pair of lovely lips completed my look...

I'm so much into blazers & coats these days & I'm sure my readers are aware about it! I recently posted outfits with some of my favorite blazers- HERE, HERE & I'm back with another such look! However I decided to give it a pop of red & blue along with this beige color blazer!

Jewelery shopping in Jaipur and Delhi

It's just the beginning of December and it's sooo cold here. What will happen in Jan??? Hope I don't freeze..he he:)) How is the weather in your cities??
Anyways we'll see....Today I'm not reviewing any product. So guess what?? Recently I had gone to Shimla and Jaipur. So my shopping not only consisted of makeup stuff but also some jewelery. I love collecting antique and traditional jewelry. So here are some sets on which I spent quite lot of money but they all were fabulous so couldn't stop myself from doing so. Check it out and hope you like it-



A pair of lovely golden brown earrings. I bought it in Jaipur. It was for Rs 1000 but after bargaining a bit I got it in Rs 800. 1000 was too much. Isn't it?? But they are my favourite...GORGEOUS!!

And just see this one. Such a pretty one. This one was also from Jaipur.
Price- Rs 1100. It gives such a pretty traditional look.

This one is in silver. It's a stylish one and again from Jaipur.
Price- Rs 2500. I found it a bit pricey but anyways as it is silver it had to be.


This one was from Shimla and looks quite stylish.
Price- Rs 250

Awww look at this....it's really gorgeous!! A back hairpin with studded stones. Love it but not the price...he:) Rs 750. This one is from Delhi.

Ohhh i love this one. I was fascinated when i saw it in the shop. It's not heavy but the elegance suitable for sari or suit. Its delicate design makes it more beautiful. The cost of this set is not much. It is of 3000 Rs. and main thing is the 75% resell value of this set, so I'm happy about the price. I got this too from Delhi.
I'm crazy about Rajasthani jewelries, wanted get more, but...anyway next time.
I think these traditional jewelries bring me much closer to my country's culture and tradition. You can easily consider me a cultural and traditional person, especially the Rajasthani and Mughal culture attract me very much. Whenever I went to see the Taj Mahal , Red Fort or Hawa Mahel, I was totally fascinated and mesmerized. A strange feeling tied me as i remembered about them...ohhh you must be thinking that I'm crazy. So leave this topic, hope you like this post. I'll really want to know about your views.
