Most of us have a statement style that defines us. Mine has always been ladylike & elegant. I usually don't follow each and every fashion trend, only the ones that suit that taste. Midi skirt has always been one of my favourite fashion trends. I'm sure I have said a lot regarding my love for midi skirts in various other posts so will not repeat all that today. Let's just talk about this outfit.

Spring/Summer Shopping | Jabong.com mini haul

All the stores are stocked up with the SS16 collections of various brands, prints, pastels and bright colours dominating this season once again!A couple of weeks back I was browsing through Jabong, undoubtedly my favourite online shopping store and as soon as I spotted these things, I couldn't help adding them to my cart. And in less than a week, they were at my doorstep. I have these for more than two weeks now & I think I should have done this post way before but finally, it's here & I'm really excited to show you what all I bought from there. It's just a mini haul, nothing too fancy but I hope you will enjoy it!

Hope you all enjoyed the weekend! Today I'm very excited to share this OOTD with you all because it features some of the brands that I've always wanted to try & my favourite online shopping destination-Jabong.com!

Although places in India do not experience such an autumn season where you require putting on warm clothes but keeping the international fall weather in mind, I've created an Autumn/Winter outfit, picking out some of the best & affordable pieces from Jabong.com. I had this shoot at sunset when the weather becomes cool enough to wear knitted jumpers & light layers. So a cropped sweater didn't do much harm.

Perhaps I'm the last one to jump into the bandwagon of off shoulder tops but trust me, I have been wanting to post this OOTD for the past 2 weeks. Finally, got the time to share some of the pics with you all. This is yet another retro outfit in which I have paired this beautiful lace off-shoulder top with my favourite pair of flared jeans. 

This top from cndirect.com caught my eye as soon as it appeared on the screen because I adore lace & off shoulder. This top has both, a two in one combo!

Lace on Lace-OOTD | How to style a lace top

Good news, I finally managed to take some shots in this lacy outfit! The sun was shining (quite brightly, as you can amke out in some of the pics) & it was an ideal time to put on this "Lace on Lace" attire.

I adore lace tops & it has been one of the top summer fashion trends this year. They are one of the most versatile items that you can have in your closet because they look trendy & chic, no matter how you wear them. This is how I styled my new lace top from CNdirect.

It's a true story- "You can never go out of style once you find the perfect pair of denims"

And what happens when you find many of them?! Simply that, you are lucky enough and you need not stop your search because there are a number of pairs out there in the market waiting for you! It's these very thoughts that inspire me to keep on collection various pairs of jeans from here and there and this time, it was a flare jeans! 

Flare jeans are back in vogue and the best thing about nowadays is that you can easily slip into, either a skinny one or a bootcut jeans without worrying about what is in fashion and what is not because both of them are! 

Jabong.com, which is probably the best online fashion megastore in India, not more than a year ago, exclusively launched some high street British and other international brands including Dorothy Perkins.  Back in 2012, I had come across a floral pencil dress from Dorothy Perkins and it was the start of a love affair! When Jabong finally launched this brand, I was very excited to try out their products and there you go. 

How to nail a casual look- OOTD

First OOTD of May 2015 and it's nearly the end of spring here. I visited one of my friends over the weekend and this is the casual ensemble I had put on. Spring summers call on for some light shades and that's exactly when my beige pair of pants come into play! I paired them with a casual printed tee and a blue blazer to add a brighter shade.  

Many a times, casual looks prove to be really trendy and stylish and that's exactly what I always try to bring in into my ootds! 

The best trick will be to bring together some light and bright shades together. Accessorize your look with trendy accessories and shoulder or messenger bags.

And of course, never step out in the day without your favorite pair of shades. Due to the beige and brown shades in my outfit, I decided to put on my new DP brown shades. 

Coming on to the makeup, which should be according to your outfit. A jeans-top look would call for some neutral shades while for a chic dress in summers, switch to girly pinks!
