My skin is normal/dry so i always use a cleansing milk because they contain gentle agents that don’t dry out the skin mostly and at the same time it cleanses the skin effectively. In today's lifestyle, we need a face cleanser that not only cleans the makeup, impurities and dirt from our skin effectively but also nourishes it well. I have tried many brands cleansers and got some good ones for my skin but still I keep changing the brands in order to find a better one. I recently used Lotus Herbal Cleanser. Lotus Herbals Lemonpure Cleansing Milk comes in a sturdy plastic jar packaging with a big yellow lid. The jar has a pump dispenser that is very helpful to control the amount of the product. The packaging is ideal and perfect. It is safe and secure for travelling.
The cleansing milk is pale yellow in color. It has fragrance of lemons. The smell is a bit strong but doesn't bother. The texture is a bit thick and creamy. I bought it during monsoon so I took two pump at first but after spreading it I needed one more pump to cover my neck. I always massage the skin with the cleansing milk for one or two minutes and then wipe it off with a moist cotton. But with this cleansing milk, I found that it absorbed into the skin after a few strokes of message so I have to wipe out it quickly. Anyways, it cleanses the skin well. I wash my face with freshwater to cleanse the skin completely. It makes my skin clean, fresh and soft. The fresh lemon fragrance gives a pleasant feeling that I love. It doesn't makes the skin oily or greasy. I haven't faced any breakout issue with this cleansing milk.
Now come to the cleansing makeup with this cleansing milk, then I found it quite effective on the non water proof makeup. Some lipsticks and eye makeup products are more stubborn and don't get removed with a cleanser. But it works well on daily makeup like kajal, compact powder and lip balm.
