Forest Essentials Night Treatment Cream Sandalwood and Saffron- Review and Price

I always prefer natural products for my skin care. Shahnaz Hussain has been my favorite brand but I have tried some other natural brands as well and loved them too. Forest Essentials is one of them. I have used some products from this brand and was impressed after using them. Last winter, I tried Forest Essentials Night Treatment Cream Sandalwood and Saffron that is for normal to dry skin. This cream has got the Vouge 2011 best night cream award. I couldn't write its review last year due to other priorities. But as the winter is on the way, I bought another jar & now I'm going to share my last year's experience with my readers before again using this cream.

Packaging

Forest Essentials Night Treatment Cream Sandalwood and Saffron comes in a light brown cardboard box with Forest Essentials logo. Inside the box, we get a beautiful glass jar with a golden screw cap and a spill proof lid. The pacaging is extremely elegant and luxurious. It's safe for travelling because the jar is completely secure in the box and can be brought anywhere easily. The only thing that I don't like in the packaging is its tub packaging. A tube packaging would be more hygeninc and safe.

Smell and Texture

The cream is pure white in color and has a heavenly fragrance. Though I didn't like the sandalwood smell initially. It felt so heavy but after using a few days, I started to like the fragrance maybe because I got used to it.

The consistency of this cream is neither thick nor runny but in between the two and which we can say is perfect for normal to dry skin people. 

Application & Effect

I apply this night treatment cream at night after cleaning the face, just before sleeping. At my first application,I noticed that a very little amount is required to cover the whole face and neck. So, the first jar had lasted  for around 4 months easily. The cream gets absorbed into the skin without any effort. I give a light massage to my face during application and the cream sinks into the skin quickly and leaves it soft and smooth. The effect of this night treatment can be clearly spotted in the next morning. I find an extremely supple, soft and radiance effect. I used this cream for about the entire winters, last year. I found my skin more radiant, soft and silky.I brought my natural glow from deep within. It improved my skin radiance and texture with regular and prolonged usage. My skin became more young, fresh and firm. I really love this cream for winters. After the winter, I gave up using this cream because it felt heavy on my skin and I noticed some breakout on my face. That was a clear signal for changing the product according to the weather.

Finally...

No doubt, it's a great night treatment cream for winters. I must say that it's the best night cream for a chilly dry weather I have ever used. The cream has many oils blended in so it nourish the skin perfectly. You get a glowing, radiant and supple skin every morning. I would definitely recommend this cream to normal and dry skin people. But if you have normal skin like me, you will have to skip this cream during summer and monsoon. Dry skin beauties can use continuously, throughout the year.
