Tomato on my lips.....Ellis Faas Glazed Lips-review, swatches & photos

After a long long time, i,m now finally back to my place and trust me, I'm feeling very relaxed and free. I accept that I was away from my blog and readers but both had been in my heart, doesn't matter where I had been, however I want to say a BIG SORRY to my readers who have shown their frustration on my absence in their mails. I would want to tell them that I'll try to be regular now. I hope you all understand my problem.
I want to write a quick post on my favorite brand Ellis Faas today. It's a lovely lip color.

Ellis Faas Glazed Lips L304 is one of their Glazed Lips range which is a range of glossy lip color. You could even call them lip gloss.

Shades

There are 9 beautiful shades in their Glazed Lips range. L304 is an orangish red shade, I can compare this shade to a tomato. It's very similar to a tomato's shade which is a beautiful combination of red and orange shades.

How to use

Apply Glazed Lips with the brush applicator first by painting the lips with just a small amount of gloss, then fully load the applicator to fill inside of the lips. Glazed Lips is also great for a more stained effect: just load a tiny bit of the gloss onto the applicator, apply and blot for a stain.

In the mirror of my own experience

When I first saw this shade on their website, I was fascinated about this pretty color because I never saw this shade in any other brand, the color of this lip color was really unique, it's neither fully orange nor red, you can just imagine a tomato after seeing this color. I really wanted to get this lip color because all new shades always attract me. I was very glad after getting this lip color because every new shade gives a new excitement and happiness to my look. 

Packaging

I think there is no need to say much about Ellis Faas packaging because I have written so much about it in my previous post. Their bullet pen packaging is perfect for a lip color though I don't like the packaging for their eye range.

Texture

The texture is very similar to a lip gloss texture but there is no shimmer in it at all. It spread on the lips so softly and gives a beautiful juicy effect to my lips. The texture is quite thin so small quantity is enough to get the right color.

Pigmentation

The pigmentation is amazing, in spite of a thin texture It gives its perfect shade just in one or two swipes. If you want a light effect on your lips, just one swipe will be enough, two swipe will be perfect for getting a deep color effect.

Application

I always apply a similar shade lip liner before wearing the lip color but you can apply it direct  on your lips. After applying blend it well to get a smooth finish. You can apply this lip color on your lipstick too for getting a super juicy effect.

Effect

After applying this lip color it feels I've eaten lot of tomatoes and my lips have taken their color. I really love this lip color, I don't know that this shade is available in any other brand but I seriously want to know about it now.

Lasting power

I can say just one word ' perfect' about this matter. It lasts 5 to 6 hour without any retouch and it's really unbelievable to see its glossy texture but I think this the difference in Ellis Faas and any other brand. I'm really impressed.

Finally...

I love this lip color, there is nothing bad in this product. The shade is amazing and will be perfect in every season, whenever you feel happy and want to apply something according to your mood, it'll be the first choice in my opinion. In spite of a glossy thin texture its lasting power is unbelievably long lasting. Ellis Faas products  have always made me surprised with their qualities, this is another impressive product from them.
