Hey everyone,
I hope you are having a great year so far. Mine has been pretty busy and I haven't been able to dedicate myself to blogging as much as I had aimed to due to a number of reasons. But I'm working on my new year resolution and hopefully things will be back to normal soon. I'm also working on some changes in my blog, so I guess a new version of Chamber of Beauty will be live soon. Really excited about that!

Styling a Printed Shirt in Winters Ft. Max Fashion

Hey everyone, 
I hope you had a lovely Christmas celebration and are enjoying the festive season. It was a white Christmas for a number of hill stations nearby which led to a drop in temperatures. What about the weather in your places? 
Coming on to today's post, a couple of days back I decided to style my new stuff from Max Fashion. Now although, Max Fashion is promoting their new A/W collection, they sent me a couple of summer items to style. Anyways, this is how I styled them for winters. I really liked the combination of this floral shirt with these green pants. The colors are beautiful. I added some Burgundy details to the outfit by putting on my hat and my favorite Burgundy heels. Layered the shirt with this warm blue double breasted coat and finished this with my new Noel Jansen bag.

Boho Print Shift Dress- OOTD

I'm sure you all must be busy with the Christmas preparations. Christmas is almost here which means New Year will be here soon. Ah, just a couple of weeks to go before we enter 2017!

All Black With Tartan - Outfit Of the Day

 It has been a long time since I have posted an outfit post here, I have been so busy and couldn't get time to shoot for outfit photos. I received a lot of emails from my readers to post more outfit posts. Unfortunately, I still haven't been able to shoot for any new outfit post. But I assure you,  I'll do it as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, I'm posting some old pics that I found while browsing through my photo folders. It is of January 2014 and I hadn't got a chance to publish these back then. The image quality is not as good as they are now because back then I was using my old camera. But anyways, I hope you like it!

Online stores are flooded with suede skirts, jackets, coats, heels etc. The runways were full of it, fashion bloggers from around the world have been flaunting their suede numbers throughout the winters. Last weekend when I was in New Delhi, it already felt like early summers there but we are not over with winters yet in our city. I'm still living in socks, beanies, sweaters etc.

It hasn't happened often in the past few months that I have posted more than one outfit in a week but I'm trying to do so and it starts with this week itself! I'm back with another outfit featuring one of my favourite online stores- lovelywholesale.com
As you all know that I've been styling a number of things from them lately, and all I have for them is praise & more praise! They have an amazing collection of heels, boots & clothing. After trying out a pair of boots & a couple of heels from there, I know that I had to grab a few more pieces from there. As a result, I went for these 'almost' knee high or mid-calf boots in suede black. It has a good heel height & beautiful golden details. It's one of the most gorgeous pair of boots I've ever seen. The pointed toe, of course, is the best part of these boots! They are so comfortable & stylish. At a price of less than $17, they are definitely a steal!

This coat is another pick from lovelywholesale. I really like the drape style and the irregular hemline of this coat. The colour is a lovely shade of green, although a little different from what is visible on the website. But no issues because this is a unique colour that was missing in my closet! I paired it with these khaki jeans and for a sneak peek of plaid, my very favourite Zara shirt. What do you think about this outfit?

Pink Bucket Bag

Hope you all had a lovely weekend! I know it's snowing badly in some parts of the world, so hope everyone's safe. Currently, we are having the usual winters here, nothing special. Today I'm here with another outfit post as I always do on Mondays. Lately, my outfits have all been about knits, jeans & boots but this time, I'm wearing this lovely button up denim skirt with tights & a cute white top.

The coat hasn't been pictured because I wanted the focus to be on my new pastel pink bucket bag from DZIINE by Deepa Verma. Deepa Verma is a designer based in the NCR. This is a beautiful leather bag with a great size & shape. I guess this is the perfect size for a bucket bag. It has minimal adornments because simple is the best! 

Not the usual dark winter hues- OOTD

Back with another outfit post and another lovely knitted sweater to show you! As I have already mentioned a couple of times, winters this year, especially after mid-December have been perfect to walk around in nice, chunky knits and leave the coat behind for a while. 

I usually prefer shades like dark green, wine red, black (of course) & other darker hues in winters but at times, light pastels are a good choice to switch to.

Red, Black & Denim- OOTD

Hope you all enjoyed the weekend to the fullest! I had lots to do over the weekend for the blog so it was a busy one. Really enjoyed going through everyone's Christmas posts, festive outfits, amazing videos etc. Well, the party is not over yet with the NYE just a couple of days away. Today's outfit is all about, as the title says, red, black & denim. It's mandatory to wear red in the last week of December, isn't it? And for me, red & denim go hand in hand.

Blue sweater with Leather pants-OOTD

It's OUTFIT Monday! I had so many other things to do that I was unable to post any OOTDs for so many days. But, if you are in touch with me on Twitter or Instagram you must be aware of the fact that I shot for this look a couple of days back. 

It was a cold but lovely day with clear blue skies and I took full advantage of it. Here I have styled this prussian blue knitted sweater from with skinny faux leather pants.

Vintage dresses

Whenever I think of buying a new dress, a vintage dress is always my first choice. I have a lot of vintage dresses in my wardrobe, but the desire of something new in vintage takes me to different places. Recently I stopped a well-known web store  DressLily.com. My eyes brightened with joy when I saw their collection of vintage dresses. 

They are so much like the ones Scarlett O'Hara would wear, in fact, when I saw the green & the red dresses, this is exactly what came to my mind! The best thing about vintage dresses is that they look modest & glamorous at the same time. Every other vintage dress has a unique charm in it. 

Do it the Plaid way- OOTD

I hope you had a lovely weekend! Mine was all about watching cricket with the World Cup kick starting on Saturday!

So this week, I'm back with an OOTD that features, undoubtedly, the best coat in my closet! Tartan Skirt

There are numerous ways of styling a tartan skater skirt! Here's my way- all you need is a soft, furry sweater, a pair of black boots & a black clutch! The complementary item would be a leather jacket! 

I really love this black clutch from StalkBuyLove due to its unique design! The suede stripes stand out so well over the leather base, they kind of pop out sometimes, or else look as if embedded within- anyhow, they give a beautiful look to the bag!

A black leather jacket is such a must have in the closet & I was such a fool not to have had one as yet!I recently got this beautiful & stylish leather jacket from Dresslily- a great place to shop for clothing, accessories etc!

This jacket is perfect to put on during these days, perhaps winters are leaving- but you never know in a place like Dehradun!

Well, I've styled in a classic way- denim shirt & pencil skirt, more of a formal type. There are so many different ways to style a leather jacket & everytime, it adds a fantastic touch to the look. I'm sure everyone agrees with that..isn't it?
