After my first review of Faces Canada's New Silk Luxury Makeup Range's eye shadow duo, I got many mails for reviewing the other products of that range, I'm not surprised with the responses because this range is really impressive and I really appreciate them for launching this great range for the makeup lovers. So I want to tell my readers not to worry, I’ll write all products review one by one. Toady I’m going to review another part of their range Faces Glam On Powder Blush in Sandalwood which is also a remarkable product of that range

Packaging

It comes in a shining metallic gray round compact packaging which looks beautiful. It opens after pressing the button with a click. Inside the case you find a the blush with a round mirror. There is no applicator provided with the packaging but you can ignore this after seeing the elegant packaging.

Shade

The shade is very unique and different. You can't usually find such shade in blushes. It's the shade which can applied for any daily wear looks. This does resemble the the shade of sandalwood with a very soft golden sheen  You are be able to see the tiny golden flecks in the swatch. However, the gold is quite understated and this can be easily worn in any time and with every outfit. I have a bit similar shades of blush like Mac Trace me Gold and Sleek Makeup Nude blush but they both quite different in shade.

Texture & pigmentation

The texture is very non-powdery & smooth. It blends very well giving a soft glowing look! Just 2-3 swipes are enough to get the accurate shade!

In the mirror of my own experience

I have used this blush many times because the shade is quite unique and all unique shades always attract me a lot. The texture of the blush is soft and silky smooth. I didn’t find much powdery mess when the brush is swiped on the surface which I have noticed with many blushes. The pigmentation is really amazing because to see its shade I hadn’t expected so much opaqueness  but after one swipe I noticed the accurate shade on my cheeks. I applied just two or three swipes of blush for blending. It blends brilliantly like a dream and gives a glowy even finish. The most important thing is that you hardly feel like you have applied any blush on your cheeks because it very light weight. Moreover the lasting power is so strong. It can stay about for 8 hours easily on my face. I don’t know how much it’ll last on an oily skin face but for me it’s great. I love this blush.

The soft golden glow which you get after applying it looks very pretty.

Bad points

No applicator provided with the blush.
The quantity is a little less than other blushes.

Finally....

If I say that it’s one of my most favorite blush, I will not be wrong because it has everything which I can expect from an ideal blush and the most significant part of it is its shade, a beautiful exclusive shade which I really love. It's a pleasure to apply such a different shade.  I love its super quality so I want to purchase some other shades too but hey, not pink now. I have a lot of pink shades in my blush collection.

Faces Silk Glam On Eye Shadow Duo- Review, swatches & photos

Faces Canada's Silk Glam range is a big hit in India. I asked many ladies about this range and almost all were agree on this view that it's such a range from Faces that can't be missed at any chance.

I completely have the same opinion because I have used their many products before and reviewed them many times. I was really excited to try out their Silk range and I was happy to know that Faces were sending me that range some times ago but unfortunately they couldn’t send it to me due to some problem but the next time they send me it too quickly. I have shown their whole range in my previous posts and today I’m reviewing Faces Silk Glam On Eye Shadow Duo Amber which is a part of their New Silk Luxury Makeup Range.

Packaging

Just the packaging is enough to make one spellbound about the product. I'm extremely impressed with the packaging. The eye shadow duo comes in a beautiful sleek sturdy case. The compact case is so glossy & shiny that you can see your face in it. Beautiful grayish black case with  the duo number and expiry date written at the bottom of the case. After opening the case you find the two shadows with a wide mirror and a sponge tip applicator which can give some help in applying the shadows. Over all it’s a classy packaging. 

Shade

There are two shades in the case; they have given the name Amber. The first shadow is sparkly bronze and the other one is pinkish maroon. Both are enormously gorgeous and dazzling.

Texture & pigmentation

The texture of both shadows is smooth and silky. They are really like silk. The pigmentation is just amazing; it’s more pigmented than  the Faces quad shadows. You can even apply them without a primer. You can feel the pigmentation after just one touch from your finger. 

Lasting power

I love its strong saying power. It stays 4 to 5 hours without primer. If you apply a good primer like RBR Mattyfing primer, it can stay about for 8 to 9 hour without smudging or creasing  easily so you can imagine about its strong staying power. 

In the mirror of my own experience

After using these shadows,

I have to realize that it’s a wonderful product from Faces. Both shadows are beautiful with soft silky texture. When I applied them on my lids, the silky effect of these shadows reminded me many times that I was using a product from a silk range. I was surprised to see that there was no fall out in both shadows. I really hate the fall out of shadows because it’s like a headache for me. Moreover they were easy to apply and gave a satin finish to my eyes.The effect which I got after applying them was incredible, everyone praised my eye makeup that day. I was really pleased to see the result. I have already written about the lasting power so there is nothing bad in this duo. The finish I got after applying them was really impressive.

Good points

Beautiful glossy packaging which really makes it a part of silk range. You can’t expect a better packaging from this range. You get a wide mirror and double tipped sponge applicator which can be very helpful in traveling.

The texture is soft like butter, silky touch you can feel while applying the shadow.

Both shades are beautiful and give a fantastic effect. You can applying either alone or mix with the other shade. Can be also mixed with a black shade to give a glamorous effect.

The glitters contained in the shadows are not too much, they just give a glamorous finish to the eyes.

The most important thing which I love in these shadows not falling out at all.

The lasting power is amazing, stronger than one expects.

They don’t smudge and crease for a long time.

gets easily removed with your cleanser.

To see the superb quality, its worth the cost.

Inside

Bad points

It's not a bad point but I wish they kept the other shade gold or black, or in any contrast color.

Finally....

Finally I can say that this is an amazing eye shadow duo which is really impressive and can't be missed at any chance.  From packaging to quality and shades,

you can’t get any fault to criticize and it’s a big deal. You hardly ever find a product in which nothing is bad.

The weekend's finally here & it's time to relax!! No reviews today, just a sneak peak of the lovely faces Glam on Silk range which many of you must have tried as it has become a very sensational range among the Indian bloggers since the past few weeks!
