Festival shades | OOTD

Hi everyone,
I hope all my fellow Indians had a lovely festive weekend! The celebrations are not over yet which means all the beautiful ladies have got a few more days to dress up in their best ethnic attires. My today's outfit is inspired by the bright festival shades of this season. The colors are bright and deep at the same time keeping the weather in mind. I bought this anarkali kurti from Limeroad a few months back (check out this video) and thought this would be the best time of the year to style it. I really love this because of the colours, the plain teal body and the bright patterned sleeves and border.
I added some red and golden details to the outfit to make it more festive.

#Traditionmyway with Jabong.com-OOTD

#Traditionmyway with Jabong.com-OOTD, How to wear printed kurtis, Diwali outfit ideas, Amiclubwear heels, Indian fashion blogger

A very Happy Diwali(festival of lights) to all! It's very evident that I love traditional outfits and festive seasons are just another excuse to flaunt them here, on the blog.

I had styled this printed orange kurti from my jabong haul last month and today, I think, is the best day to share it with you all. Nowadays, not all girls & women like to go for heavily embroidered suits & Anarkali every year. For such people, these type of kurtis are a fabulous option.

Plaid & Twinkle-OOTD | Party Outfit ideas

Plaid & Twinkle-OOTD | Party Outfit ideas

The year 2015 has simply flown away in a flash & as we head towards December, Christmas bells will start ringing!
Now, why am I mentioning that? Because today's outfit is something that can inspire a Christmas party look, thanks to the classy red & black combo with some twinkles. I had shot for this look last month. While searching for something else in my closet, I came across this skirt which I had bought 3-4 years back from "don't remember where".

Mint & White for Eid- OOTD

The auspicious day of Eid is here, but a not so auspicious celebration follows as thousands are being ruthlessly murdered in Gaza by the Israelites. 29th July also marks the centenary of the beginning of World War 1 as people around the world maintain a 2 minute silence for the martyrs of the great war. Those are reasons enough for not celebrating Eid in the grandest of ways.
However, as a fashion blogger I couldn't miss this occasion for sharing my idea for a soft, elegant festive look! I got a few pictures clicked while the sun was out, which is very rare these days due to the rains. Minty green with white looks like the perfect combination to create such a look! I paired it up my favorite white heels, a gorgeous emerald green necklace & soft pinkish makeup.

Festival look: Golden and black combo

Hi dear friends and readers

There are a lot of festivals coming in India very soon, like Diwali, Eid-ul-zuha and then Christmas. A lot of happiness & excitement is in the atmosphere. People of my country are the most energetic ones in this world especially for celebrating festivals, and ladies? Ohhh they always wait for these festivals because it gives them such a big chance of to look beautiful.

So ladies what are you thinking about? How is your preparation for the coming festivals?

Now when the atmosphere is festive so I thought why not post a festive look for my readers?

I have tried here a different look which can surely insist you to try it for any special occasion. Black & golden are the most favorite colors of any festival so I have chosen the combination of both shades here.

And yes, I wore a nose ring which has given an amazing change in my look. A very small piece of jewelry but is able to give you a pretty look.

I applied an amazing shade which is the combination of black and golden but not very shimmery, it’s a little dull.I got this wonderful shade from my Rimmel trio.

It’s a simple formula of the makeup that if you have applied heavy makeup on your eyes the rest of part has to be light. The main exposure will be your eyes so I applied a very light touch of blush and lip-gloss.

Products I used here.

For eyes-Chambor stick foundation in place of primer

Rimmel Silk eye shadow trio

Revlon kohl black

Revlon eyeliner- Black Beauty

Revlon Lashfantasy mascara

Revlon false lashes

Vega eye shadow brush

For face-

Chambor liquid foundation

Revlon compact powder

Chambor blusher

Loreal face magic pearl powder

For lips-

Street wear Lip gloss

                                                            This was the final look:

So ladies I hope you would like this look and if it can inspire you, try for your festivals.  Have a good day!!!
