November Lips from ELLIS FAAS

While the forests are filled with autumn colours, I am happy to share this November visual from Ellis Faas with you. This is an amazing makeup and couldn't stop me to share it with my readers.As you can see, there is a strong focus on the lips, and in case you are wondering: Ellis used Hot Lips L408 as a stain, and then applied Glazed Lips L308 over it...

If there is anything that I love more than red lips, it is a beautiful nude pout!

Today I'm sharing a few pics of my go to makeup look that I hear been in love with, lately.

Honestly speaking, it has taken me years to find the right shades of nude lipcolours for myself. It can be a tricky job to find the perfect nude shades that will suit our skin tone and not end up making us look washed out & weird. I have a couple of new shades of nude lipcolours which I will be reviewing very soon.

I have many highlighters in my makeup box and recently a new facial highlighter was able to achieve a very special position in there. Ellis Faas at the Dutch Fashion Here & Now India show

Hey everyone!!

Ellis Faas visited India a few days back at the Dutch Fashion Here & Now India presents *DIED* & Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna / Suneet Varma & Jan Taminiau"!

* For their collaborative show, *DIED* made graphic designs on the fabric, which Rahul&Rohit then embroidered. So on the faces (evened out with ELLIS FAAS Skin Veil foundation, Concealer and Compact Powder) Ellis also drew black, graphic drawings using the black Creamy Eyes E103. On the lips is nude Milky Lips L209.

For Rahul&Rohit's solo collection, Ellis kept the faces quite simple and fresh, in contrast with the graphic collaborative collection. So she just made an even skin with ELLIS FAAS Skin Veil foundation and Concealer, adding black Eyeliner E501 and a nude Milky Lips L209. As an understated special effect, she put Golden glitter over the right side of the face, adding shine on the edges of the models' faces. *DIED*'s solo was the same, but with a special mix of lipstick that is not in the ELLIS FAAS collection. And the face of their first girl was completely covered in Gold.

 

For Jan Taminiau and Suneet Varma, Ellis decided on something with a strong, chic-tribal statement: having evened out with ELLIS FAAS Skin Veil foundation, Concealer and Compact Powder, she shaped the eyes with navy blue Creamy Eyes E113, varying with using it as a stain as well as a fully covering shade. She then shaded with the antique silver Light E301. The nude lip is Milky Lips L209.

All the three themes of makeup are absolutely fabulous!!! Unfortunately I was not able to visit the fashion show but I would like to congratulate Ellis & the whole team for doing such a great job!!!

Like me, my readers too are fond of Ellis Faas products & I have always wanted this brand to come in India as well! I'm sure that's what you all must be desiring for too..isn't it?
Today two exclusive and gorgeous lip colors from Ellis Faas’s Milky Lip Range. 

Whenever I think about an exclusive and elite color for my lips,I always check out the shade collection of Ellis Faas. They don’t have traditional shades in their collection, for this purpose you’ll have to check out somewhere else, but then I guess that the common traditional shades are owned by everyone & after that we are in search of some unique colors. Ellis Faas is well-known for their nontraditional, only one of its kind type shades.
Let's have a look at the shades that I'll be reviewing today.

As most Ellis Faas products, they come in an easy to use sleek bullet design with hidden brushes only visible after pulling the cap off. These are lightweight and when you use them you have more control as they feel like a drawing pen in hand. I always love their packaging especially for their lip colors because they are so easy to use and travel friendly too.
Milky Lips have the perfect balance between pigmentation and transparency. The formula is designed in a way that the lips look more fluid nevertheless if you apply a little or a lot. The color is also very smooth and applies consistently throughout. There are soothing oils that make your lips look fuller and pulpy.

L203 is a slightly brownish rose shade or rather a deep burgundy with a cool brown tinge, it’s really a shade which can be worn on both day and night occasions and will be great on all skin tones. It’s perfect for most outfit either western or Indian. The shade is neither deep nor light; it’s just perfect.

L206 is brownish nude, you can’t call it nude because it has quite color in it and after applying it looks wonderful. It’s a shade which you can’t find easily in all brands. It’ll suit fair to medium skin tones and will go with both Indian and western outfits. For day events it’ll be an ideal shade.

The velvety smooth texture is soo pleasing while applying. It spreads out evenly, the pigmentation is just amazing and you need a little quantity for covering the whole of your lips . For day time I take out very small amount and give a light touch and it gives a soft and marvelous effect for day occasions but I apply a bit more quantity for night event for getting a fuller lips. You can pair it with a sexy smokey eye makeup!

Milky Lips L206 and L203 both are highly pigmented and have extremely creamy texture that you don’t need any lip balm for softening your lips the soft smooth texture makes your lips soft and creamy after applying.

If I talk about their lasting power they are just like all other Ellis Faas' lip colors and if you are a regular reader of my reviews you would be aware about their amazing lasting power but for new readers I want to tell that these lip colors last for 4-5 hrs easily & after that you can give a light touchup.
