Blue Shirt + Denim Skirt Fall Fashion Trends

Hey, everybody, hope you’re having a lovely weekend! 

 Today's outfit is a blue polyester shirt, a denim skirt and stylish lace up sandals.I've done this look while keeping the coming winters in mind. The shirt I'm wearing is a new one I chose from Zaful which is certainly one of the best & most reliable online fashion stores. I've always had a great experience with their clothes, accessories etc. Premium quality, huge collection, trendy designs and affordable prices, they have it all! 
I love this stylish shirt, it's warm and comfortable. The lovely embroidery on the collar looks fab. I've styled it with my favorite button up denim skirt and these golden sunglasses I got from there as well.

I decided to put on my new lace up heels that I recently grabbed from Amiclubwear and finished the look with a white shoulder bag and back hat.

Ombre shirt | OOTD

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I'm back with an outfit post wearing my current favourite ombre shirt tunic. It's actually more of a shirt dress but as it a short one, I decided to wear it with a pair of ripped jeans. This ombre shirt is from wsdear, an online fashion store, already introduced a couple of times on the blog (here). 

Military Accents

A military outfit, obviously, would not include high heels but the colours in this outfit, the rough & edgy cuts, all led to the post title. 

Here I am, styling my new olive green quilted jacket. It is a great piece, can be worn frequently for any casual day out. It has a very soft fur lining on the inner side which makes it warm & comfortable.

Not the usual dark winter hues- OOTD

Back with another outfit post and another lovely knitted sweater to show you! As I have already mentioned a couple of times, winters this year, especially after mid-December have been perfect to walk around in nice, chunky knits and leave the coat behind for a while. 

I usually prefer shades like dark green, wine red, black (of course) & other darker hues in winters but at times, light pastels are a good choice to switch to.

Studded neon flats- OOTD

Aqua Blue is an amazingly refreshing colour! It tends to scream summer but you can easily wear it in winters if you own such a top. I got this from Stylemoi a few months back and decided to style it with white denims because I simply love this combination! The top is most suitable to wear in early fall because it provides some warmth. But, you can even wear it in winters by simply putting on a coat or a jacket over it. It has a zip closure at the back that makes it very stylish.

A very Happy Diwali(festival of lights) to all! It's very evident that I love traditional outfits and festive seasons are just another excuse to flaunt them here, on the blog.

I had styled this printed orange kurti from my jabong haul last month and today, I think, is the best day to share it with you all. Nowadays, not all girls & women like to go for heavily embroidered suits & Anarkali every year. For such people, these type of kurtis are a fabulous option.

Orange is very much associated with autumn owing to the orangish leaves, orange pumpkins etc which dominate the season! Orange has always been one of my favourite colours which is why  today's outfit features a marvellous pair of orange heels.

Although places in India do not experience such an autumn season where you require putting on warm clothes but keeping the international fall weather in mind, I've created an Autumn/Winter outfit, picking out some of the best & affordable pieces from Jabong.com. I had this shoot at sunset when the weather becomes cool enough to wear knitted jumpers & light layers. So a cropped sweater didn't do much harm.

Last Sunday was my birthday & I enjoyed a lovely lunch with my family at a beautiful restaurant called Orchard. Unfortunately, I forgot to carry my camera along otherwise would have surely shared with you some beautiful snaps of the location. The plan was made in a hurry and I decided to play safe in an ethnic outfit. Before leaving, we had a quick shoot in this outfit featuring this elegant black, white & gold anarkali  kurta which I had recently purchased from Jabong.com ( HERE).

I hope you had a lovely weekend! Mine was all about watching cricket with the World Cup kick starting on Saturday!

So this week, I'm back with an OOTD that features, undoubtedly, the best coat in my closet! You need not envy the bright sunshine in these photographs. They were shot a couple of weeks back when we used to have sunny afternoons and it was possible to stay out for an hour or so without an outerwear, but things are quite the opposite now- rains and the unpredictable weather of this valley! So don't get surprised if you find me wrapped up hereafter!

Tweed Knit and Plaid Skirt- Fever AW14

Contemporary fashion cannot get any better once you combine classic tweed knit and vintage plaid! I did the same in my newest OOTD featuring the Fever London AW 2014 collection.

Initially, I had no intention of pairing this jumper with the plaid skirt. But then came an inspiration, not in flesh and blood but in words. Reading through an English Classic, I came across the following lines:

"He was dressed up in a tweed suit and plaid shirt, which made him look...."

Cropped Cardigan and midi skirt- OOTD

A beautiful black midi skirt is undoubtedly one of the wardrobe essentials. It looks classy, elegant and stylish, an all in one investment! I finally got hold of one with a beautiful ruffle waist and animal print belt from Stalk Buy Love. The best thing about midi skirts is their versatility as they can be paired with blazers, cardigans, turtle neck top, leather jackets...options enough?!

Well I choose to go for a cropped blue cardigan from Stalk Buy Love itself with the perfect length and size. It has a semi- formal look to it that suited my purpose very well! To add a pop of pink, i layered this cardigan over a fuchsia vest.

A pair of ankle strap heels and a black clutch played their part efficiently to complete the look!

Sweater weather- OOTD

It's almost November which means it is almost winter which also means that the sweater weather is here! Out here, in the valley, I can't imagine stepping out of the house without a pullover or trench during the morning and evening hours (after 5) when it gets really chilly!

A light sweater is the perfect option for these days and that is precisely what i got from dressve.com! It's a beautiful black sweater with a frilled hem that gives it a very chic appearance. It looks wonderful with dresses, skirt or any other bottoms. So if you want an alteration in your boring knitted sweaters, this is it! I paired it with my favourite Fever dress ( SS13- Here) which gives more of a pencil skirt look( the advantage of pencil dresses)  & chunky black heels. First of all heartiest wishes of Diwali to all Indians out there! I'm sure all of you must be enjoying the beautiful festival of lights!

The everyday look with a neon twist!| How to style beige pumps

Remember my recent haul from Amiclubwear? I picked out three of the best possible heels (out of the thousands of other fabulous ones)- a black, nude and golden pairs. The black one has already been featured- HERE and there will be lots more I assure you, and today I'll be featuring the gorgeous beige & neon pumps which were a perfect match to this outfit! I put on my favourite dog print tee with a pair of ripped jeans & beige blazer. It's the perfect everyday look with a stylish touch to it!

Crochet & heels- OOTD

Long time, no outfit! The gloomy weather, not the best of health & busy schedule were the factors due to which I was unable to post any OOTDs.

But finally, I have one to share with you all! It features my gorgeous new pair of ankle strap heels that you had seen in one of my recent posts- HERE

I wanted to put up a colourful outfit and therefore ended up pairing this teal top with pastel pink pants. The crochet jacket is one of my recent picks from Romwe and proves to be useful during this early fall season!
